The Lake House Restaurant

Sweet. Mother. of. God. If you have never had a meal you thought was worth $100, you have not been to the Lake House. Take it from a former exec chef: top ingredients, perfectly executed. And service to go with. If you want to pay for cheap food and a lake view someplace else, go ahead. More room at the Lake House for me.

The service was great, our server, Clay, was very attentive and on top of things.

My entrée was delicious, the duck two ways was well seasoned and the portion was just right. I also heard nothing but praise for the filet that was ordered by my date. The mushroom and truffle risotto, however, was a bit bland for my tastes. My date disagreed and thought it was good. I deemed it merely "acceptable" but nothing special, unlike the entrée. The chocolate mint with sea salt at the end was too salty (says my date - I don't care for mint) but other than a few small things, a very decent experience on the food.

The ambiance here is also quite wonderful. The decor looks wonderful and cozy, it's well lit while still being romantic and not blinding. The layout is very clean and works well.

All in all, 4 out of 5 stars.

Nice ambiance but feels nothing like a "Lake House". Interesting chandeliers and the food was quite good. Not a single window and a ways away from any lake. Service was great, we found our waiter to be friendly and more than competent. However, only beer and wine are offered, no cocktails or liquor. Their description online indicated otherwise. Overall we fairly enjoyed our experience.

Had date night here with my husband, loved everything about this place. The rustic chic modern decor was especially stunning. The staff was friendly and attentive, although a little slower than expected we never waited too long. We asked for bread as a starter which is available upon request, delicious. My husband loved his king crab and I couldn’t be happier with my chicken Marsala. We both had great sized portions (larger than a typical restaurant) and perfectly filling. We had no room for dessert, but we’re still offered a complimentary chef special chocolate mint sea salt treat before we left, wow!! They have a great selection of wines by the glass and bottle, we were offered tastings when undecided about our choices (by the glass portion). It was a little pricey, but perfectly accurate for our incredible all around experience. We will definitely be coming back for more date nights. Thank you for this beautiful memory!

Went there with my wife on our honeymoon. Was absolutely incredible! It wouldn't be a stretch to say it's one of the best meals we have ever had! Absolutely amazing.
