Lotus pho 2 Noodle House

Great food and fast turnaround. Highly recommend in the south Tahoe area.

06/16/19:  4.0 out of 5 - Came out to Stateline Nevada from Portland, Oregon with a small running team to run in the Rock Tahoe Half Marathon.  This would make this my first time ever visiting Lake Tahoe.

One of the traditions my running team does is to eat phó after a doing a long run.  So of course, we seemed out such a place and came upon Lotus Phó. Tried it and truly enjoyed the establishment. So, the next day, we all wanted to try Lotus Phó 2 Noodle House.

The establishment is situated in a quaint space but it is quite accommodating for a groups.  The place is really clean, and that includes the air vents.  I am a stickler about air vents that are filthy.  Think about it, it'll blow into your food.  However, like Lotus Phó, the vents were clean in the second location.

Next, the staff were very nice and very accommodating.  Wanted to make sure we're comfortable and answered all of our questions.  Much like the first locale, nothing snooty from these people.

Moving on to the food.  I had the Chow Fun Combo while the others had the dry noodle bowls. My dish was very tasty, but the other dry noodle bowls was okay. This establishment seems more set up for faster food preparation, which in some instances can sacrifice taste.

However, if you are in Lake Tahoe and looking for a tasty bowl of Phó or any other tasty Asian dish quickly, then you need to try this place once and decide for yourself.  Very tasty with room for improvements!

What a great place to sit down and enjoy a meal in a bowl with a view. I had a very good bowl of Lemongrass Chicken and jasmine tea and it was delicious. This was the first time we came here but I can tell the next time I'm in town I will be here.

First time I tried this place. Ordered the pork chops over rice. Rice was perfect and the pork chops were delicious! Price was about 10 bucks. A great meal at a great price. Portions were filling. Could very well be my go to Vietnamese place in South Lake Tahoe.
