I go here all the time. It has a great atmosphere because it's not full of out-of-town yuppies and their kids. However, my one complaint is that they ALWAYS burn the cheese when I order nachos. Please stop burning the cheese! The cheese is the best part!!!! Not sure if they're microwaving it or what, but the cheese is always rock hard.
Great place to relax! Stopped in on our trip from Buffalo. Owner operated. Great beer, good homemade food (loved the Brewben), and outstanding staff. The bartenders are friendly, helpful and quick. Wanted to take a growler home, but they don't handle travel to lower elevations. Still... 5 stars!!!! We will be back!
Nice small craft brewery. It isn’t much to look at from the street, but don’t let this deceive you. The inside is quite nice. Oversized wooden tables perfect for groups and socializing. I ordered the IPA, and it was good and true to style, though with a slight yeast aftertaste. The pretzels were tasty, and the homemade mustard is pretty amazing. The brat was a little watery, but the sauerkraut made up for it. We had the kids with us, but before we brought them in, I made sure to ask if it was okay for them to come in. So it was a little unfortunate when an employee behind the bar started bantering with some regulars with loud f bombs and other profanities.
Great beer, and the place wonderful outdoor seating area when it's warm. The inside is nice, but has absolutely no ambiance at night as it is so bright. The food is decent, but nothing amazing and I would really only eat there again to help absorb more alcohol.
Stopped here on our way out of South lake Tahoe because of the good reviews. We were not disappointed! Great variety of brews, especially liked Petey's Porter, Tom Tom White IPA (seasonal). The sours were especially good too. Relaxed brewpub to grab lunch, dinner, or just tasty beer.
