“The salad I had was flavorful and a joy to eat. It was good. The salad my husband had was good as well. The day we went it was a bit chilly out doors. They need more seating within the building. But with summer around the corner you'll be able to enjoy the patio area. The service was very good and it was a clean restaurant.”

“We had excellent service at 3:00 a.m. on 7/6/19. Our server was a very attentive and friendly. I don't know his name but he should be recognized for his outstanding service. We had just arrived in Clovis after a long day of moving and he made our morning.”

“NOSTALGIC. When I was in high school we would go here. Of course, there weren't all the choices of places to go as there are today. I enjoyed my half and half frosty cone. The price was reasonable compared to other places. Freshly painted and all the chrome and stainless steel are sparkling clean. They offer daily specials.”

“I love to eat at the Pieology near Fresno State's Savemart Center. It's one of my favorite places to go for lunch with my mom just before (or after) going to a movie. So we were both excited when one opened closer to her home in Clovis. We've eaten here several times and unfortunately it has been a hit or miss at this location. Most recently I had a side salad where the lettuce was not just wilted but slimy. The salad wasn't even chilled. They agreed, apologized and made me a fresh one to replace it. It was better but still not very fresh. Another time they gave my mom her pizza without cutting the slices. Luckily we were eating in and so she had them cut it. Lastly...make sure to pay attention while they put on the toppings. They tend to be lopsided. I was so busy chatting with Mom and catching up that I didn't notice I had chicken just on half of the slices and not the whole pizza. Anytime we had an issue they were always great about trying to make it right. So, I'll still go back...just need to make sure to order a fresh prepared side salad and not one already made, keep an eye on them as the top the dough and check the box before I leave to make sure the pizza is cut into slices. ????????”

“One of my favorite spots. The consistency of food quality between all their locations is excellent. The vibe inside is very comfortable, almost like a coffee shop. I've even busted out my laptop and didn't feel awkward about it. I could eat here daily and not get tired of it.”

“This is a small restaurant with very welcoming atmosphere, great food, excellent service and a very nice selection of beers and wines. They even offer an option if you want to bring your own wine, with a corking fee of $20. We tried a couple of their taco platters: vegetarian and halibut, and they were both excellent. I also tried their soup of the day that happened to be clam chowder, and it was delicious. You can tell they put a lot of effort in making everything fresh and with a homemade touch. Overall, a great place to go for a bite to eat and drinks.”

“I do like Taco Bell overall. This unit is no exception. The food was prepared correctly, it was hot and fresh and it was reasonably priced. I had the $5 Chalupa box, a deal when you don't have a lot of cash to go around.”

“Wow! I had the gardeners special lasagna and OMG I fell in love with. Great food and great customer service. We then went to the bar and we were surprise, they have a whiskey, tequila bar! No really..stuff I never heard of and the bartender was very knowledgeable and super helpful. We ended having the Oriental Express drink and all I have to say is amazing! “We were from out of town and asked at our hotel for a recommendation for a place to eat. We found this burger joint to be perfect. The service was great and the food was better. The burgers are an uncommon mix of flavors with a variety of meats to choose from. We had two crazy burgers that were great. Then came the beer. They serve a root beer flavored beer and make a Hard root beer float. The cherry on top was the decor. The tables and bar are beautifully made. When we inquired about the restaurant and the wooden tables we found out that it was named for the Grandmother of the family and run by one of the grand children. The family also had a coffee shop down the street. The wood on the table came from the local Shaver Lake area. The flavor of the food had a local flavor. The restaurant had a local flavor. It was the perfect choice for two non locals. Amazing!!!”

“Our whole family loves to go to Sandy’s. They have everything for each one of us. From bacon& eggs to biscuits & gravy, or eggs Benedict California. My kids love the OJ that come in a cowboy boot. Never a disappointment. We had a great time. The food was delicious and the staff was very friendly. The little place sure is a big part of the community and supports the local veterans. Visited on a lazy Sept. afternoon. Ate outside. Good staff, wonderful food, relaxed atmosphere. Decent price. Great value.”

“One doesn't expect to find fine dining of this quality in a small town, let alone old town Clovis. The brother team that owns and operates Trelio are standouts of their own. Both are classically trained, one as a Chef, and one as a Sommelier. Together they make some of the finest food and wine pairings in all of California. If you are visiting the Fresno/Clovis area, or just passing through on your way to Yosemite or Kings Canyon National Parks, take a detour for a fine meal. You will not be disappointed.”

“Usually this place is the absolute best. Tonight, it was not as wonderful as usual. My meal, which I have had there at least a couple of dozen times over the years, was off. It was a bit bitter. They quickly made me something else which was wonderful! Customer service is a real thing there. If you get a chance, eat there. You will ask yourself why haven't I eaten here before? We ate there for the 1st time about 30 years ago and we were hooked. Fresh made food, made the old fashioned way just like grandma must have made it. Its still family owned and operated and closed on Sundays. Rest assured, I will be back again!... and again. and again! ????”

“Took our friends to dinner tonight and had a wonderful meal. We had the brisket sandwich w/fries. The brisket was tender and flavorful and the fries were hot and crisp. The owner was the cashier, order taker and server. Very pleasant lady. Overall, the place was clean and the food was good and filling. Glad we gave it a try.”
