Stars is a Arcata and Humboldt classic. Good standard burgers. Not one of those places trying to serve enormous ones you can't fit into your mouth. Good grass fed local beer.
Love this burger joint. This is where all the university students come to and has been a staple in the community for many years. Cool bonus, Humboldt Alumni that worked here at Stars Burgers was the creator of the famous SpongeBob series.
Awesome burgers and shakes.
Fun lunch place, good quality and variety of burgers, fries, and shakes. Malts are my favorite Take out, dine in and outside. Curry chicken, salads, fish and chips too.
Five stars...hear me out. This place is hometown vibes all the way. Great burgers. GREAT onion rings...however, this isn't a Angus burger joint with the ability to order well done. It gives no false impressions and plenty to look at. The patio is beautiful to sit on any day 😍
Really good burgers, onion rings and shakes. We were in the area for a college tour and the tour guide at Humboldt State told us that the creator of SpongeBob went to college there. He apparently based some of the show on businesses in the area and Stars was the inspiration for The Krusty Krab!
Hands down the best burger and shake I've ever had, and great service. Very reasonably priced for the freshness and flavor.. Just there recently, love the employees and the food. They have shake specials each day/week. I ordered one and asked if they also.could put some chocolate ice cream in it. I was hoping not to ruffle any feathers for asking for a special addition. The young lady not only obliged with a smile but after I tasted it, asked me how it was. I said it was awesome, and she said "Glad to hear that, I love making them that way too." Go Starz!
