Village Grill

Was great..took my mom. We shared the Patty melt and house salad. Portions are large enough to share if not wanting a whole meal.
Food and service was awesome..abit of a wait, but worth it, cause it made to order.
The menu has a bit of everything..so could go again and not eat the same thing twice if I didn't want to...

Food and services were wonderful but I would like to give a special shout out to Quinn, he was so helpful. He saw us coming and my friend was needing some help down the steps and he was right there ready to help. And all through our service he was very helpful. Then upon leaving he once again helped her up the steps. So a big thanks!

Another down home favorite. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, great food with a variety. Also serves beer, and bloody Mary's, mimosas. Definitely if you're passing through stop by for breakfast or lunch. If you're from here well then you probably already know about the Grill, enjoy

Very delicious and fresh food. I had the New York steak and my Mom had the Pork chops for our meat selection, biscuits and gravy was one of the best I've ever eaten, the potatoes were almost as good as the ones I make at home. (They were) Our eggs were perfect, I had over medium and Mom had scrambled. The garden seating is great if you want to sit outside. I choose to sit inside because of the extreme heat in Bakersfield. Our waitress was very attentive and made sure to check on us frequently.

First time there. Service was excellent! Food delicious and reasonably priced. Extra surprise, served free apple cobbler and it was delicious. Decor was inviting. Outside seating beautifully set up. Highly recommend to stop by and try then out.
