    If you're in Taft and hungry stop by and give the Route 33 a try. Fresh sandwiches made to order. Clean, fast and friendly.

    I love this place. There are so many sandwich shops that have popped up in the last couple of years. But one that stands out is Route 33. Even though I live in Bakersfield, Taft is an easy detour away. Whether I'm traveling down south or even to the Central Coast, we stop. The owner Jeff is a great guy with a smile ALWAYS on his face. The amount of meat, veggies and spread tastes so good you forget you're in Taft. If you happen to be anywhere near, take the detour to Route 33. "It's worth it!"

    Fair for a sandwich shop. Like the shredded lettuce and oil they use. Need to add macaroni salad and maybe up grade salads nothing to special.
