“I work all over the state and I love coming to Vallarta markets. They have fresh homemade food everyday trip with wide variety to choose from along with the tortilla factory and potato chip factory. Today I had the beef soup refried beans and all the condiments to go with it everything is always delicious. this is one of the smaller Vallarta markets but don't be fooled the restaurant area has everything all the other ones have they also have a bakery here with fresh baked goods as well. Great place to shop there are several throughout Bakersfield and other cities throughout the state of California.”

“No, portions are not getting smaller. If there are employees standing by the registers and there is a line most don't have registers in their name so they can't take orders. We have a limited amount of cashiers every shift: morning, afternoon and night. Dan also does not yell, he has a loud deep voice naturally and takes care of us employees. He's an amazing manager. Don't complain about small things if you can get them fixed.”

Only one worker so service was slow but no one seemed to mind because the whole vibe more of a take your time and the atmosphere was friendly and chatty. Great place. “It's usually good but kind of hit and miss. I ordered the large size cup and the serving didn't even reach the top of the cup. I ordered a size smaller for the kids and it rose well over an inch above brim of the cup probably equaling or exceeding the serving in the larger cup. I'm not sure how they are trained to measure their portions but it's definitely not an exact science.”
