A couple of visits in to Wildcraft now and I have to say that we're looking at mixed results. The setting is comfortable, cozy and bustling. The staff is all friendly and hard working to the last. It's the food we've found to be uneven. At lunch not long ago we tried french toast, a margherita pizza, and a breakfast pasta. The breakfast pasta was basically served in sauce resembling a simple roux. Heavy and missing flavor. The other items worked just fine. More recently I ordered a halibut dish, which came neatly pan fried, an served atop a small bed of sauteed artichoke and olive. Nice. My only complaint was that it was quite dainty for the price. At $25, I might expect to not feel hungry at the finish. I'll visit Wildcraft again, and if you're in the area and looking for a polished gastro pub option I recommend you do as well.

Awesome happy hour, with delicious oysters and truffle deviled eggs. The pork chip was well cooked if just slightly under salted. Seriously good food here and great, friendly bartenders. Great service.

This place has really great pizza and pasta! Everything I've tried so far was very flavorful. The only thing I would recommend is to go for dinner. I'm not sure if it's just the time I tried it, but the lunch didn't taste as good and the pizza bread was really soggy.

Great wait staff. Good beer selection. and the food is freshly made. Good for a romantic dinner or group setting.

Parking can be tricky, but hey, it is LA; Wildcraft is worth it.

    Recommended.

I went to Wildcraft on a Friday night. I had 6:45pm reservations and was seated right away. I started with the Fries of the moment which were truffle fries in addition to the rosemary bread and they both were delicious. We ordered the fried chicken, a mushroom truffle pizza and a pepperoni pizza as entrees. I really enjoyed this restaurant and will return in the future.
