AMAZING restaurant. The chicken pot pie is my favorite of all I've eaten (and I've eaten a bunch). Very cool, old-school Americana bakery type restaurant that's kept up with the times super well. We went on a saturday night, there seemed to be a bit of a wait to get into a table, but my wife, daughter and I were able to get a seat at the counter right away.
The friendly staff provided crayons and paper for my daughter to draw on, and she loved her freshly baked blueberry muffin.
All the pies here are baked right at the restaurant, all from the same day, and its just amazing. We had an apple pie with ice-cream on top for dessert and loved it.
What a restaurant. Great place to go, great food, great atmosphere, well done.
Always wonderful to eat here. Great food and service. There is always a wait to get seated but worth the wait.
I've read lots of good things about this place. When I finally got around to trying it, I couldn't figure out what all the hubbub was/is about. Food, service, atmosphere and prices were all okay, but the only noteworthy aspects of my experience were the long wait to be seated and the mystery of why this place is so popular.
One of the best veggie burgers I have eaten. When we arrived there late morning, by 11 on a Sunday and it was packed. Waited about thirty min to get a table for two but it was totally worth it (if in a hurry take a seat at the counter, it is open seating). We tried the burger special, the burger comes with a drink and a dessert. The coffee had lovely flavor. They have a quite a selection of desserts - pies, cookies, cakes, etc. The person who waited our table was as pleasant as possible given the crowd. We had lemon meringue pie and pumpkin streusel for desserts (part of burger special) and couple of lemon bars to go. The lemon bars are not the best ones we have had. The prices are good value for money.
Parking is on the street, if not one can try the Dana library parking which has two hour parking.
Best staff! Every single person was so kind. Very busy but they never made us feel rushed. Food was fresh, delicious! Never disappoints! Thank you for a great meal!
