Avatar restaurant and hookah

It was not what I expected. It's outdoor only and very small. In Long Beach you can only smoke outdoors. Music was cool a mix of Indian hip hop, Indian music, Top 40, and some Afro Beats . When we got there it was a bit full and they offered us a table right at the entrance to the door which was very small and awkward. The chairs provided where tore up and ugly. We were reluctant to stay and were looking for another spot to go to. Then the server came and asked if we were going to leave or stay which was kind of off putting because of his tone. But he just wanted to know so he could make room for us in the main seating area. He made a great suggestion with mixing the Ambrosia with white peach. He was very attentive to changing coals and refreshing the bowl when it got harsh. This place started off rocky but it was a pretty chill spot. Maybe needs better circulation of air so it not so hot and suffocating. Also this place is somewhat new and still under construction. The patio will be expanded a bit more and there will be a Cafe and liquor in the next 6 months.

In the cut hookah spot. 2 televisions, very friendly and professional owner. Quality hookahs used here. Perfect for Friday nights, any night really and perfect for the weekend.

Good atmosphere and excellent service!

Loved the ambience. The music was hype. The hookah was nice and smooth. If it's too strong just take a charcoal off. I really liked the avatar flavored hookah.

Came here for some late night hookah with friends and had an amazing experience. Service was excellent, hookah was great and well priced, and the atmosphere has a nice, upscale lounge feel. Will have to come back during the day for some of their food and hummus variety. Located in a nice area too.
