Pancho's Mexican Food

The BEST Mexican food of my life. Been going back to Pancho's for 34 years and have not gone past the #1 on the menu. Everything is home made. The salsa to the enchilada sauce...... Who does that anymore? The only item you will find pre-prepared are the mints at the register. The help are friendly familiar faces for all 34 years!!!!! The place is a Time capsule of the best, traditional Mexican food on the planet. Everyplace else will be compared and come up short. I only hope I am able to live another 30 years to enjoy the flavor.........

I've been going here for years. Actually I went here on the way home from the hospital after I was born, so I know what's up. The place is owned by Pancho and ran by family (Rosa & Melinda etc.) all very friendly and on a first name basis with all the regulars. Here's my advice. Order:
1. Nacho's to start
2. Must order TACO Sauce (goes with everything) This will be the basis of your repeat business.
3. Iced Tea is delicious

Anything on their menu will be pretty good. Don't order a hamburger. Try something Mexican.
I usually order the chicken tostada (comes in a huge shell) and beef enchiladas.

The absolute best Mexican food in Southern California. Reasonably priced, great service! It can get crowded and you need to bring cash. But it's well worth the wait and the minor inconvenience

Old fashioned restaurant, great olde style quality service and food. Fair prices, and great food. Serve beer and wine, but CASH ONLY. Good classic Mexican food. I love it. Highly recommended for the food and service. Not the ambience.
