i enjoyed my meal here. very nice atmosphere. owners and staff are very kind. would go back. ask for Don's special sauce.
Very Very good tonfuku (maybe best i have ever had, very authentic) but the pork gyoza is just okay. Ask to sit by the fire pit!
This place is as good as it gets in Westwood. Tsujita is really good but tonfuku seed house has the goodos. Try it and see what you think that’s all I’m saying you’ll go hot dog for this stuff fr fr!
The gravel in the front is a nice touch
good enough, wouldn’t come back though
At first I just left a star rating because I was so afraid about how good this place is. It actually terrified me to the point of unceasing vibration. Then I saw other tonfuku boys reviewing this Joon, and I laughed because I was so happy about the news. When I say this is the best llamen I’ve ever had I mean it. You get it served by 4 butlers, especially if they don’t know you well - the service is unmatched. (3 of the butlers used to run an art dealership but decided to pivot once their old business burnt to the ground). When you try it, let’s just say you’ll go “Hot Dog!”
I had to wait about 1 week to think about my 5 Star review I gave this brothy haunt. And guess what? I still like it just as much as I did 1 week ago. Chef Donfib’s execution of the mixing bowl ketchup llamen is unrivaled by any other intimate ramen joon west of Chinatown. I spoke with chef scholar J of “Lansing ramen” (ramen haunt east of joon town) and he even agreed he cannot figure out how to add as much ketchup as fib. 1 Star.
