A gem. This hole-in-the-wall is the place to go if you are looking for a relaxing, calm, delicious, and Parisian atmosphere. It's unique style is really one of the best qualities. It is quaint, homely, and even gives you a sense that you are at a road-side or beach cafe in a providential French town.

I will give a forewarning though, this is not a typical "American" establishment, so don't expect the silver-spoon experience. It has more of a come in, have a seat, relax, enjoy your meal, and when you are done simply pay at the counter to conclude your experience kind of place.

That being said, let's dive in...

    Location and Visibility:
This cafe is nestled next to the corner of 11th street and Western Ave.
Though this can be "less desirable" at night, do not let it deter you from enjoying the dining experience. I live in KoreaTown and walk these areas after-hours and can tell you first hand, you are in no danger.

Regarding the area of visibility, this place really is hidden in plain site as I have driven past this place hundreds of times and never noticed it was there, save the large Eiffel Tower painted on the wall outside. It sits next to the PC Lounge on the corner. It is easily accessible via Bus (get off at Western/Olympic) OR a brisk 15-20 minute walk south from the Purple Line Metro Rail (Wilshire/Western Station).

    Parking:
Parking (Not paid from what I saw) is limited, but is located behind the building on 11th street. I would highly suggest doing ride-sharing to reach this location or, as mentioned above, take metro transportation.

    Entry/Exit:
You will find and entry/exit point on either side of the building. One door faces the parking lot and the other Western Ave.

    Service Counter:
Located in the center, It will be where you get greeted and seated. This is also the location of the kitchen (Open counter).

    Overall Service:
The Hostess was kind and greeted (two of us) us at the service counter in the center of the building and quickly showed us to our dining area.
It did however take a few minutes to come back and take our order (this included drinks at the same time). I would have liked a bit more attentive service when it came to getting drinks first such as water or a tea. The hostess was kind, professional, and knowledgeable on the food. She came and checked on us a few times during our meal, but gave us time to enjoy everything. Food did however take a bit of time to come out as everything was being handmade. Freshness and taste was the main focus and they hit it right on the head. I really loved everything they served! (Veggie Crepe, Cheesecake Crepe, Cappuccino, Cafe Americano)

    Value:
I feel like the price is moderate for what I got with average prices being $12-26 per person . I have been many places where a single crepe was $18-27.

    The Look, Feel, and Decor:
The look and feel of this place may catch you off guard! It is crazy at first, but you will quickly get settled in to have an amazing, relaxing, and calm experience. It is as if you are no longer in a big city! The seating areas, and walkways are all unique. The barriers are made of old re-purposed glass/wooden doors, windows, and screens. Old benches and chairs provide ample seating. The lighting is ever so dimly lit and comes from several locations including old antique street lamps. The art is exquisite along with the antique items strewn around the whole establishment. Every inch of this place is a piece of art, even the bathroom.

    Seating:
A multitude of seating in different styles and arrangements populate the small space. Each is a unique architecture. From benched seating, antique lounge chairs, to a umbrella covered patio, this place can be a different experience every time you come in.

    Noise Levels:
Not sure during "rush hours", but during my visit it was very quiet and only a few people enjoying the dining experience. Nothing keeps you from having a conversation! The traffic outside is extremely minimal to the point where I forgot it was attached to a main street and I was in a big city!

Could be a wait if they're busy, but it was worth the wait! Some prices on the menu were a little overpriced. Had coffee and crepes that were delicious on a weekend, definitely coming back!

This cafe is great. The decor alone could keep them in business. It is eclectic. I only recently discovered that there is a back patio. The pasteries are delicious.
