(March 6, 2019, 8:19 pm)Cafe Midi is a quirky little cafe set in the back of a home goods store. The food is tasty, prices are a bit above average but nothing surprising for La Brea. The menu size is surprisingly large considering the bar size. I'd prefer it if they paired down and focused on just a few french classics, but you can't complain about the selection I suppose. The service is very friendly and efficient. If you're in the area, looking for a small cafe they're worth checking out.

(September 23, 2018, 3:01 am)Small cafe with a variety of very tasty French & Mexican dishes. Healthy & vegan options available. Fresh brewed espresso drinks done right, created to your specs. Signature recipe pancakes are light & fluffy, deliciously paired with real maple syrup.

(September 14, 2018, 9:24 pm)I ordered the veggie burger (no tomato/lettuce). It comes with avocado and a mango chutney and is DELICIOUS. I’ll be back for more for sure. Nice dog-friendly patio.
