One of the best pizzas in the world, super cool location. Crust is fantastic - just the right mix of crispy exterior and soft interior. Nice and thin under the toppings. Tomato sauce was some of the best I’ve ever had. We also got super lucky and Chris was there himself and he was gracious and lovely to talk to. Definitely go check it out!
Mamma mia! I've been wanting to try Pizzeria Bianco in Phoenix for years, so I was pretty excited when they opened at the Row.
I went solo and ordered the whole menu because why not. I did not regret it as I have leftovers for days, but everything was good. The cheese and the green slice were the standouts, along with the summer slice (the square with the sausage on it, surprisingly good). The crust is obviously great, but the tomato sauce and cheese on the NY style red just worked perfectly, probably the best slice of cheese pizza I've ever had. Can't wait until they expand and add dinner.
Amazing pizza. The owner is an award winning chef. The chef award equivalent to the Oscars. The salami slice was a little salty. The green slice was interesting but tasted really good. The market alone was very flavorful but a little dry. The CRUST was so crunchy and crispy, I absolutely loved it. Service was good. Located in the DTLA ROW.
Heads up: on Friday June 17th they’re offering FREE slices!!!
The long-awaited opening of Pizzeria Bianco did not disappoint. We ordered a few slices and a salami whole pie to take home. The crust is perfectly done with the right amount of char and a perfect texture and chewiness. I also ordered a ‘green slice’ consisting of caciocavallo, parmigiano reggiano and spinach-cream sauce and it was OUTSTANDING. Even if you think you’re not a fan of spinach, order it. You won’t be disappointed. We’ll definitely be coming back for more.
I graded Pizzeria Bianco with 4 out of 5 stars. The tomato sauce has very large chunks (not a fan) and the salami has a bit of a funk to it - if you’re not used to eating cured Italian meets you may find it strange.
Currently they only offer lunch Weds - Sat 11-2pm, and will offer reservations for dinner soon (TBD)
