What can I say about Tki-Ti that hasn't already been said? The hubs and I love cramming ourselves in here on Saturday night with half of Los Angeles. My favorite drink of all time is the Rum Runner, which has a really nice splash of blackberry liqueur along with all that rum. Drinks are expensive but worth every penny, they are STRONG. Love the friendly staff, the rituals that come with some of the drinks, the crazy decor, and the feeling of continued history at this one-of-a-kind tiki bar.
Came here after an early dinner on Thursday, got 2 seats at the bar and managed to make it 10 minutes before happy hour ended woo! Happy hour runs 4-7pm Monday to Fridays with options on beer of the day, cocktails, and flights specials. I got the kiwi, lime, mint grog with vodka which basically tasted like a mojito and it was perfect.
Nice and fancy ambiance.. drinks were great and good to give a buzz. I went here for happy hours and tried beer ampler and grog sampler. Gorg were delicious and I would say worth the money. I reduced one star because I think they should have more food options for happy hours; they just have nachos and they were good though. Rest I would say good place to go hang out with your girls in evening.
Salsa & Beer is THE best Mexican food north of the border. The food is EXCELLENT and the prices are on point, that winning combination makes for a VERY BUSY restaurant and they do NOT take reservations which makes life very difficult. However, they have a Yelp waitlist which helps but it gets full quickly. We love planning nights to dinner there but the instant I think of S&B, all I can think of is the 95 minute wait on any given night!
Nice place, good food & coffee! Had the Avocado Toast, French Toast, Organic fried chicken sandwich, Lucky Dog and a Coffee. Everything was delicious; made well, good flavor (avocado toast needs salt but otherwise it was good). Coffee was surprisingly good too (didn't expect flavor and not watered down). The place is nice inside, pretty & clean. Staff was friendly. Parking available in the lot across street (other lots close by) or street parking.
