“I have been in search of the best popusa in a 10 mile radius. I come from a dense los Angeles area known for Salvadorian foods. Now that I live in Montclair I have been disappointed with the Salvadoran foods here. UNTIL I found this hidden Gem. Popusa here is NOT oily it's crispy and filled more with food than with dough. Their plates are very authentic.. feels like my wife just served me food at home. It's clean and savory. If anyone in town feels like eating a well experienced salvadoreño cuisine restaurant you found it!”

“I tried the chicken teriyaki bowl it was delicious the bowl was a good size, i paid about 10$ the chicken was perfect and the rice was perfect im picky about the texture of rice this one was spot on and the orange spicy sauce is a must I asked for it because it wasnt included in the to go bag so if you like that sauce dont forget to ask for it.”

“This place has totally been redone. The menu is pretty amazing and the food all came out with great portions, fresh, and hot. We where hungry on Thanksgiving morning and went for a walk on Holt. We live down the street and where hopeful something would be open. We had noticed that this building had a face-lift so we thought we would check it out. We noticed everything was freshly painted and very clean. Also, the menu was full of amazing American and Mexican Dishes. My partner got a pastrami sandwich and I got a Mexican breakfast. We sat out front in the gated area. (No indoor seating). When the food came out it was hot and really good. We talked to the owner and found out it was a family owned business. I really hope more people in the area check them out cause we need more restaurants on holt! Update: I went to Troys today and it was bad. I showed up at 10 AM amd there was one guy ordering and one guy in line. 17 min later the cashier had only taken one order. She wasn't doing anything but "taking orders" when I say SLOW this was BAD. Not sure what the problem was but after 20 min I left without ordering. I will give them another chance in a couple of weeks, but I hope the management moves that women to another station and they get a cashier that can take three orders under 20 min.”

“Gave this place a try the other day. The place looks modern, clean and I’m glad they have this type of food in the area. This replaced the Spicy Chicken Sandwich before, and the Flame Broiler, not sure if it is a new owner. Food We ended up getting a beef bowl and a 2 item combo with terayaki chicken and California rolls. I would say the portions are pretty generous. I prefer the beef over the chicken. The ordering process was quite fast by phone, and the lady I spoke to was quite nice. Seems like a family owned joint, in the same plaza as T-Mobile. The prices are quite fair, would need to try other items to give anymore feedback. Until next time !”

“Met the famous young man the store is named after! Star struck! He is the new born of the humble family man that owns the restaurant!! Its a beautiful thing to know your money is going right into the pockets of a small business owner, building a family and a future for his home. The food is fantastic anyways :) Super crispy garlic crust, the cheese mixture is nice and elastic, so you get that satisfying cheese pull!! New spot for me and mine.”

“They finally opened a Mochinut here just a few days go in this Pomona/La Verne area! I used to go to Buena Park for the mochinuts but this location has the Korean hotdogs and milk tea options as well! I ordered the half and half original corn dog with 3 mochinuts. Good quality as expected. Customer service was great and friendly! Gonna do my best to get word around of this jewel!”

“I happened to find this place randomly here. I’m not from the area and needed lunch. The guy who I think owns it is great real nice. I got the meatball sub I have had it at other places but this one was better. Anymore it’s hard to find a good meatball sub for me in my area. The sub just the right amount of spice. Fast service also and a nice outdoor patio. Definitely check it out, they’ve only been open a few weeks at this point”
