Captain Kidd's Fish Market & Restaurant

My wife got us some seafood dishes. I can't tell much about the dishes other than they were super fresh and super tasty. Great atmosphere, we sat outside. It's on the oceanfront, bring your wallet.

It was my first time with my girlfriend and we had the jumbo shrimp cocktail in the glass case when you walk in...AMAZING. Anyway we went back later for dinner and assumed the 3/4 shrimp bucket would be the same..ITS NOT (I should have asked what it was but honest mistake) there was a little too much Old Bay seasoning on it for us plus the shrimp were small...basically we expected it to be the same as the other shrimp cocktail kust in a bucket.I took a chance to return it half eaten and the manager replaced it at no cost and gave us exactly what we thought we were ordering. Nice platter of fresh shrimp cocktail! Amazing customer service. He actually thanked me for returning it and not leaving disappointed. He didnt hesitate to make sure our experience was positive. 100000% recommend this spot. God bless Captain Kidd's.

Second time we’ve eaten here and glad we came back. Very informal, which for us is part of the appeal. Feels like it hasn’t changed for many years. Wide choice of fish. Efficient prompt service. They will even cook your own fish if you bring it. Good choice or beers on tap.

Serving size was very generous. I had the halibut with hush puppies and macaroni salad as my sides. The food was fresh. It tasted great. The service was friendly and fast. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area.

This is NOT a fancy or upscale restaurant, so know where you are going. This is a great stop for freshly grilled fish. Personally, I enjoy the halibut. The side dishes could use some help. However, it is a relaxed atmosphere and they are dog friendly in the enclosed patio.
