“Typical Starbucks. If you like Starbucks, it's a consistent experience. Store was expanded and remodeled in 2019, adding seats both inside and out. Popular store, seating is still almost always full. Adequate parking is in the metered lot across the street. Have patience if you choose the free parking in front of Trader Joe's - it's small and full most of the time.”

“Pretty great! Was there for the opening and am still using my First 100 card. They have an oddly small amount of parking and NO INSIDE SEATING. There are some tables outside, but they're not well shaded and can be a real burner on hot days. Still, the staff are energetic and get most orders correct, or are willing to make quick fixes if something goes wrong.”

“Great gluten-free pastries. Freshly baked & delicious! The hot teas and matcha latte are worth the drive to the South Bay.”

“This is a sweet little space: not much from the outside but pretty inside and kid friendly. In a large strip mall, so parking is available. No alcohol :( The menu is extensive, the Oaxacan dishes are a great addition. There were 4 of us, incl. 2 non-veg seniors and 9mo baby. The DH had the Fiesta Plate for two and polished it off all by himself. The baby tried the lentil soup - it was too much for her, however the adults liked it. Had the chocolate crepe and carrot cake for dessert. The cake was very tasty, not weirdly vegan like might be expected in baked goods. The crepe was really good, dark chocolatey and stuffed with strawberries. Only miss was the bland sausage pasta. The mint lemonade and pineapple ginger lemonade were also delicious. I'm looking forward to working my way through the menu.”

“Stopped by this new Hawaiian place last night and quite enjoyed it! Huge menu, but I tried the chicken katsu plate first. Great chicken, sauce, rice and mac salad. Will certainly go back to try more soon. Plenty of parking in lot, plates range around $12-14 pre tip.”

“I don't know what you guys do to that cauliflower but its amazing! Every meal I've ever had has been so tasty and different and I crave days later. The crew is so friendly, the decor is light and colorful. Don't forget to check out their "specials" because they come up with some spectacular combinations that I would never think of. Thank you to you and your crew.”

“The service here is really good but that could be because when I came for dinner it was pretty much empty. It's a bit on the pricey side but the portions are also on the larger side. For instance, 3 pork chops come with the pork chop dinner. My burger was good but not great. The chili cheese fries were very good! Lots of parking in the rear on the building & free Wifi. I would recommend and will return!”

“The ice cream is delicious!! My 1st visit and I had the chocolate chip cookie dough & it was very good. I also sampled the coffee & cookies & that was also very good! The prices are reasonable & there's a different special every day during the week. Most interestingly.... There's a dine in only option of a flight of ice cream. 6 flavors!! There's also milkshakes, sundaes, banana splits, & ice cream cakes & pies! I will definitely return! Highly recommended!”

“Food is excellent and unique. I sat out on the patio and it was super beautiful. The corn appetizer was amazing and the barbocoa taco was fantastic. Service was excellent and I will be back! Margarita Monday, Taco Tuesday $2.50 tacos, Mezcal Wednesday and Wine Thursday to note.”

“It’s been so nice enjoying the newly opened restaurants here in LA County. I drove by Riviera House a couple times, and decided I had to give it a try. Heads up, parking is a little bit of a pain, but there is meter’d parking nearby! I ordered a Mai Tai to start. The drink was strong, and absolutely delicious. ???? I really miss restaurant-style salmon, so I ordered from their Family Menu (you can get individual sized portions) and I am so thankful I did. I had the salmon cooked extra well-done, and it had a beautiful crunch! ???? There’s indoor and outdoor seating, but we opted to sit inside so it would feel more like a legitimate restaurant experience. The manager was present and popping in and out, making sure their opening day was a success! Absolutely a must try! Interested in more of my reviews? Follow me on Instagram at dining_with_davi”

“CHECK THIS PLACE OUT! !!How could anyone rate less than 5 stars? Unless they don't like spicy and order spicy...I mean it says right on the menu "you probably can't handle it". Plenty of delicious options on the menu that aren't spicy. I've eaten half the menu so far and can't get enough. SO DANG GOOD! The Connecticut Lobster roll is unreal, the rich boy is a 10 stars and the Yum salad may be the best salad I've ever had. Ok I don't wanna go on too much here but THIS RESTAURANT DESERVES YOUR ATTENTION! And if you're looking for the hottest food around ask the chef to burn your face off!!!”

“Great location with outdoor seating and really good food. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Patio heaters were great on a cool evening. The downtown Redondo/Riviera area is very walkable with tons to do. The only downfall is that parking can be tough. Definitely give The Hook and Plow a visit.”

“Took my Japanese mom here for her first poke experience, and she loved it! The fish is super fresh and they’re very generous with their portion sizes. The staff is also so friendly and helpful! Try the gourmet sodas. I’m not usually a fan of soda, but these were great.”

“Fantastic food, daily specials and great service. The Front Porch offers food that pairs well with a salty breeze. We started with avocado hummus & tapenade then seafood paella, which was rich with saffron flavor and some tasty bites of seafood. The coffee was French Pressed tableside and the sangria was superb. Citrus roasted cauliflower warmed up our tastebuds for the blackberry roasted duck breast served with crispy brussel sprouts. We must remind ourselves that good food takes time, and with such a small kitchen patience is important. Good thing sangria is always on tap!”

“Great little place tucked away on the Redondo Beach boardwalk. Very small with limited seating. Food was good and very reasonably priced.”

“This place was really good. I wasn't wowed but not in a bad way. The menu is simple which I like. It's simply just chicken tenders. Now I can see where this came from granted that there's a craze with Cane's chicken tenders and this is similar to it. The staff we're extremely nice and greeted my family immediately. We ordered the garlic and the original flavor. I would recommend asking for additional ranch, or sauce. The lemonades were pretty solid as well. Wait time was short as well. Enjoyed our visit and will be returning soon since we live so close.”

“George has retired, and Carlos has taken the reins. We had a marvelous breakfast, great service and lots of fun. Don't let the limited parking scare you off. Hot tip: park on Torrance Blvd (around the corner in front of Wells Fargo). Eclectic menu, I suggest the Greek deluxe scramble. Enough for 2 people to split. Prices are really reasonable. Enjoy!”

“A wonderful experience! The coffee was lovely, it wasn't difficult to find a drink that fit my tastes and dietary restrictions, and the employees are so nice! On the pricier side, with sandwiches that average $9, but well worth the money.”

“Went for the espresso (which was excellent) and was pleasantly suprised to find they serve legitimate breakfast as well. I tried the french toast, which was exceptional (perfect texture)! Being so close to the beach, I got my order to go and enjoyed it while watching the waves - an added bonus of this location. I do hope they end up adding some lighter snacks / pastries to their menu. In any case, I will definitely be back!”

“I ordered the steak enchiladas. The order was small and very plain, not very good and not what I was expecting. The guacamole was very tasteless.”

“Great food. We didn't have a reservation but got seated reasonably quickly. It looked like reservations got first seating, so I would recommend getting one before heading over there.”
