“Great food and fresh fish. Probably one of the best if not the best sushi around. They get fresh fish daily not the average sushi place by far. Recommend the fried chicken and any sushi item. Love this place and go once a week.....they also welcomed my service dog with open arms and gave him some sashimi. (He loves raw fish and seaweed) the staff is great and Henry is awesome”

“A real proper hidden gem. I'm not sure what the previous reviewer did or ate but I can only assume it was an off day. The food is great and I can really recommend the tofu and black bean sauce and the jalapeno rice. I'm definitely coming back.”

“This is one of the best Vietnamese places in LA. Keep in mind that I no longer order Pho at a Vietnamese restaurant because I've been eating it my entire life. So when I'm at a Vietnamese restaurant, I always order something different. If you love trying something different, this is the place! I had awesome summer rolls! This place makes a mean spring roll. It is definitely one of the better places that makes them.”

“El Baja Chef is a small restaurant located on the Horseshoe pier in Redondo Beach. It's run by the family. Good selection of Mexican food, the owner is a wonderful friendly person, nice place to sit, good beers, good food and decent prices. They have a view of the harbor and sailboats, nothing fancy but, hey it's like being in Mexico. I've been there a number of times and have brought a lot of different friends and people from out of town and everyone seems to enjoy their self and have a good time.”

“Tony's is one of those icons or landmarks that is a must visit for dining, if you're in the Redondo Beach area. Located on the Redondo Beach pier, it is the perfect place to drop in for a meal, drinks or an appetizer after a relaxing stroll. I love visiting Tony's because it brings back fond memories of when I lived along the Strand about 30 years ago. Tony's has withstood the test of time and continues to be a popular place to dine. There are many tables located along the windows inside the restaurant, where you can relax, look out at the pier and watch the waves break into the shoreline. Service was excellent and quick, drink orders were taken right away and warm fresh bread served up to get things started. The server came by regularly to refill water glasses and check if anything else was needed. Being in the mood for a variety of appetizers, I ordered steamed clams, crab cakes and coconut shrimp. I don't typically eat steamed clams, but I must say that these were some of the most tasty clams I've ever eaten. With a touch of garlic and lemon, they were excellent! The coconut shrimp went quickly. They were crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside made to perfection. The crab cakes were the size of a potato and went well with the beer that accompanied the meal. Tony's is a wonderful casual place to dine while visiting Redondo Beach. Stroll in, relax and create a memorable experience.”

“Good Mexican fast food. Decent selection but the prices are a bit high. Service is a bit of a slow side. There's a self-service covered sitting area off to the side. That was hard to miss the place. Is easy to miss the entrance to the parking lot.”

“We loved the bully sandwich which is Korean BBQ beef. Reasonably fast service and really great for. The servings are large and reasonably priced. The place is small and had no sitting area though there are 3 picnic tables outside in the parking lot which you can use. The owners and staff were very friendly and responsive. Highly recommend it for a quick good sandwich.”

“My boyfriend and I really enjoy going here whenever we're at the pier. I used to hate corn dogs until I had one here, now I love them. The hot dogs are always really good and the lemonade is equally wonderful. The staff is nice and they get you your food quickly. If you enjoy corn dogs you'll definitely like these. This is a great place to stop for a quick bite.”

“Fresh sea food in Redondo beach pier. You get a vast variety of crabs, mussels, fishes and shrimps to choose from. You can get your sea food steamed or fried for free and enjoy the food on campus. Wouldn't say it has the cleanest cafeteria, but it is better for small group parties.”

“I was vacationing from Texas and in the mood for seafood, particularly fried shrimp. So I tried their combo with 6 jumbo shrimp, fries, and coleslaw (as I recall)... It was delicious ????????????. They even had their own special ketchup sauce.”
