鹭岛花胶鸡火锅 （Lu Island seafood hotpot）

We came here by chance looking for a hot chicken soup. There was only one staff working and she was nice. We sat down and she explained to us to look for qr menu. I won't lie. The menu is very confusing which I understand why people left them a low review. The first thing you see is a $50 meal. They don't explain what comes with this $50. The photo shows a soup and some side dishes. But, we are not sure what side dishes come with it since the photos are cut out. So to be safe, we order the soup for $18 and the veggies and meat we wanted.

The gold chicken soup was delicious and the meat was good. Since they are short staff, the place is not as clean as you would hoped so. Hopefully, it gets better in the future.

Do you like Coldplay? I hope you do, we heard the same Coldplay song on replay at LEAST 17 times during a one hour lunch.
The broth was good (we got the half and half with spicy and chicken). But they give you plastic spoons for boiling hot soup. And a custom labeled box of tissues instead of napkins.
The experience, overall, is confusing. We got a free gift for eating here… And it was glitter liquid eyeshadow…🤔
