“All of the familiar flavors of Chinese food, but using better ingredients, and healthier cooking. For the health conscious eater, and those with food restrictions, this is a terrific place. Service is good. Pleasant ambiance, clean, fair prices. Second time we've been here with friends with children, and it works for them as well.”

“Very authentic Chinese street food hot spicy pot. However at $12 for one with beef, it's a bit on the pricey side. It's pretty good food but given that it's very simple to make, if they dropped the prices to equivalent prices of other noodle bowls in the area, I think would double attendance. Right now it was empty on a Saturday dinner time. The guys working here are awesome”

“This has been my go to to place for AYCE sushi for years. The food is good and the service is alright and reasonably priced. The quality has gone down over the years I have to admit. They sometimes use too much of the sweet sauce and a lot of rice. Rolls don't hold together we'll and break apart when dipping into soy sauce. It doesn't seem to matter if you mark the light rice because the rolls will be caked in rice regardless. They occasionally will add some interesting new items and introduced an appetizer menu a while back that has some good and sometimes mismatched items on it. Like fried mozzarella sticks at a sushi place isn't what I'd expect but it's on there. Overall still one of the better AYCE choices around the neighborhood.”

“Great tasting bread! The round sandwiches have a softer crust compared to their competitors. I love coming here to take advantage of their 3 for 2 deal, which also applies to their sandwiches. Parking can be hit or miss. They usually have plenty of room but sometimes I park in the center next door”

“It's a small Popeye's but the food is consistently good here. The chicken is made fresh to order (at least when we come here). The fries are also made fresh to order and are quite good here. Not overdone and perfectly seasoned. I have never had a problem with the staff here. They're extremely patient even with the customers who don't speak a lick of English. The clientele in this neighborhood is about 60% Asian. The staff at this Popeye's is mostly Latino. So you can imagine communication can become an issue. It's particularly busy on Tuesday because they have a Leg/Thigh Tuesday special. I was tempted to remove one star because the A/C is weak in the heat of the Summer. Perhaps their system could use more refrigerant since the flow becomes weak (coils may be freezing up). We still love this location though, but the parking can sometimes get scarce at peak times.”
