Plan Check Kitchen + Bar

Always a fan of Plan Check. Their food is solid and their drink selection is excellent. The Santa Monica location has a full bar so they have mixed drinks as well as beer and wine.
Highly recommend the Plan Check burger the first time you come here.

Would highly recommend this place if you're looking for American food with an upscale twist. It has either outdoor or indoor seating, and is good for medium size parties of people. Great place for gatherings of your friends and families..wouldn't necessarily recommend for children. Just a block from an overlook of the Pacific.

Great food! Really chill and modern atmosphere. I gave it 4 stars because it good, but it is never mind-blowing

Open air seating. Friendly staff. Food was good. Tried the Fried Calamari, which was served with a tangy sauce. Very delicious. We ordered the Plan Check Burger PCB in both "Regular" and "Beyond" versions. The Beyond Burger was actually quite good, though the regular burger had a lot more flavor when tasted side by side. The "ketchup leather" was interesting, though I wasn't impressed by it. We finished our meal with a Key Lime Pie Donut which had a lot more donut than we anticipated. Very sweet, but also very, very good. Overall A+ meal.

Plan Check makes a really solid burger. I went with the PCB and was very impressed. The burger was cooked perfectly and was extremely juicy. The ketchup leather is an interesting addition but didn't seemed right at home. Overall a great combination of flavor and a great burger. Fries were good as well with what tasted like homemade ketchup. I'll probably be back in the future, if not to this location possibly another.
