Little Ruby

Any Melbournian wanting a taste of home should visit here. Nice coffee and great menu. Team are really friendly. Could do with a tad bigger vegemite serving, but not a deal breaker ????

We stopped into Little Ruby on our way back from Santa Monica Pier. We were originally going to the place next door but decided to try Little Ruby in lieu of the wait for the other place. We were so happy we did. The fries and the sweet potatoes fries were to die for. Amazing. The burgers were delicious. I ordered the pumpkin pesto which was very very good. Our waiter was very friendly and sweet. We’re definitely glad we stopped here.

Nice decor and service was nice. We had their chicken sandwich and one of the burgers with fries The chicken sandwich was delicious, I'd recommend it! It was juicy and came with flavorful toppings/condiments. The burger was great, served on a panini bun which was unique Fresh greens and tomatoes with their mayo made this sandwich! The fries were cripsy and well seasoned, loved them. We topped the meal off with an apple spritzer that was a little tart but refreshing. Worth a stop.

Good brunch spot to hit up if you're ever in Santa Monica. It's an Aussie-style cafe that serves salads, burgers, sandwiches, pasta, and grain bowls. This joint gives you a very relaxed and local vibe. It has a very cute little patio and has a great location right by the ocean.

MUST TRY - chicken burger, truffle fries and watermelon juice.

I really enjoyed their chicken burger. The chicken was tender and crispy and paired perfectly with the coleslaw. Their truffle fries were also on point. My boyfriend got their cheeseburger and it was ok. It wasn't bad but it also wasn't amazing. The thing that I absolutely loved was their watermelon juice. It was super refreshing and super yummy.
