Awesome venue and decent staff but the DJ is not great on Saturdays, I couldn't take it

Went here after cookjng to the rose cafe one block over around 0900 on a friday night. It's kind of hidden away in an alcove off of navy street but if you can ever find the front door then its an interesting place. It is configured with green trees surrounding areas of the inside to create a kind of earthy atmosphere, which is mostly successful but my standards aren't super high for that sort of ambience. Its filled with couches in the main area and has two bars. Around 1000 the place slowly began to convert over to a club with the larger mass of the main area and majority of couches being blocked off to bottle service only. The music was exclusively rnb, rap, and latin club bangers the whole night and crowd was your standard club faire. Security is not intrusive but also managed to keep order and keep things in line as certain people got out of control. I enjoyed it but its def dependent on personal taste.

It was nice ambiance. Diverse crowd. My downside is the two drinks I asked the bartender to make, he said no he couldn't. Weird. They are pretty basic drinks. But that shifted my mood and I was ready to leave after that. The door man was very polite and the DJ was cool. Maybe get a better bartender and I'll try again ????

Cool bar atmosphere with seating to gather around for larger groups. When I've been here, the music is more hip-hop. Only went for drinks with friends and it seemed to have a 20-something crowd mostly.
