Love the food and ambiance and we have been here many times, but annoyed at the 4% (up from 3%) surcharge for employee healthcare.

Flash news, it's a BUSINESS EXPENSE everywhere else. I don't charge my customers extra because I want to provide health insurance to my receptionist; and that's included in their employment contract.

It's cheeky, obnoxious, and arrogant. Plenty of other French restaurants in LA. Au revoir, Republique! Va te faire foutre!

This is an old classic bar that has pool tables and when the karaoke isn't session on Saturday nights then they cover the pool tables so you can't use them. The karaoke guy was friendly and he had an assistant that took pictures of us and sent them to us. Nice little service. Karaoke has a website where you can find thousands of songs searched by name of song or band. The bartender was it friendly older women also felt out a couple Tunes. It wasn't that busy but then again we went at about 8:30 p.m

This place is so cozy, with friendly staff and inner sunset locals. The drinks are pretty standard with decent beer on tap. It's also amazingly temperature controlled. Like they leave their saloon door thing open throughout the night but it's still so warm inside.

The most real dive bar I've ever been to on the west coast. Cheap drinks, pool, a sweet older Scottish lady (love you Ruth) behind the bar... What's not to love? Karaoke Saturday nights!
