The best Italian food I've had! I've been there twice, and both times the service was fantastic. It is a small restaurant, and the wait time can get pretty long, but it's definitely worth it! The owner was on location both times I ate here, and made it a point to say hi. If you are in the Santa Monica area, it's a great date night location.

One of my favorite places to eat in all of LA. Can't even come up with the words to describe how great this place is. And it is SO consistent, I've probably had the ragu 7 times and it is always just as good. Sometimes I even get 2 pasta dishes while I'm here. The staff will always make you smile and the small plate items change out occasionally. If you are in Santa Monica this place is an absolute MUST.

Best pasta place ever!!! I'm only 14 and for a 14 year old to say that this place is great...you should come and try it. Also My mom is Claudia Martinez and she is one of those good cooks and I am proud to have a mom like this

We came here on a Friday night at the peak dinning hour of 7 pm. There was already a small crowd waiting but we were seated in 15min. The pasta is expertly cooked with fresh ingredients; it is probably the best pasta I've had in my life. For its prime location and delicious food, it is well-worth the price. The bar/bistro interior with candle-lit tables and an open kitchen creates the perfect ambiance for a date night.

I'm reluctant to leave a review here because 5/5 is no exaggeration and despite the long line, this place still feels like a well kept secret.

Be aware that there are only 3 vegetable side options and this is a turn 'em and burn 'em place where they hammer out only one thing: very delicious (maybe even "the best") pasta. Don't expect to linger long without hungry people in line staring daggers. Just order, eat and leave happy.

Everything is streamlined, from the automated boiling pots to the tip-included bill which is sitting in front of you and will require no signature.

Despite the fast pace and cramped counter space, the staff is friendly and attentive, and more than happy to answer lots of questions and offer suggestions.

But ultimately this joint is about one thing: shoveling forkfuls of mind melting delicious pasta right into your face. Every time my wife and I go we order 3 plates and a veg, walk out stuffed, and regret nothing.
