HiHo Cheeseburger

Right in downtown Santa Monica you'd expect something unique, but this burger place paired everything down to a very limited menu - and it works. The wagyu burger is essentially the only item in the menu, and it is perfect. Get the triple with the spicy option, and you wont regret. Honestly, even the soda fountain is delicious.

Being the son of an eight-year NFL veteran; training table meals typically included a good cut of beef during my childhood . Yet, I felt compelled to eat even the most infinitesimal morsel from my plate.

The fries are savory. Don't turn up your nose at the onion sauce; an elegant path to onion flavor.

Would give 6 stars if I could. The HiHo burger I had was so juicy and delicious. The key lime pie was equally satisfying. The excellent service completed the package. Now I'm hooked :)

A darn good burger. Not an ordinary ground beef. You can taste the difference with the waygu beef. Like an upscale In N Out. For the price, I would say it is a great value. My only complaint is that you can't customize it much. There are no tomato or bacon options.

If you consider yourself a burger lover, this is a place you MUST try! I stopped here during a cross country road trip, just wanting to find a local burger joint. Couldn't have been happier with my choice. I had the HiHo cheeseburger and made it spicy. The burger was cooked perfectly and the onion jam made the flavor pop. 5 stars for the burger alone, but the staff at the restaurant blew me away and made the experience that much better. They were friendly as soon as I walked up to the counter, gave some great suggestions and made me feel welcome. I'll definitely be a repeat customer. Great people, great burger. Give it a try!
