The Penthouse

Enjoyable. Relatively speaking, it was not excessively busy & the cost trended toward the higher side of average for its sort. Great views & mellow enough atmosphere for a day/night 3rd or 4th date, when feeling greater comfort in the presence of the other.

All good. Food good. Service excellent. Just not my kind of place. Not my crowd. Stiff. Pretentious might be a good word too

Excellent service. Excellent ambiance. It is impossible to have a bad date here. The bouncers are especially cool. If you're looking to get a head up on the rest, go there at 8 pm, when they switch from dinner to drinks, and you'll beat the line. Also, make friends with the bouncers because they're awesome, and be sure to tip them well. Next time, when you show up with your lady, they'll let you right in, and you'll look like a boss.

Love the penthouse! Great place for a romantic meal, birthday brunch, or to show your friends a great view of LA from up high on the west side.

My boyfriend and I walked in at 11 AM on a Saturday morning mid-September and got seated right away with no wait. Our server was attentive and recommended great food! We got the avocado toast, chilaquiles, french toast, and mimosas. Highly recommend.

The view is worth millions and the food was very good. However, I have to give only 3 stars because of how bad the service was. Not only was the wait staff short tempered, but pretty much absent throughout service. I'd consider giving this place another shot, but not anytime soon.
