The Lobster

The food is delicious and the service perfect: ask for Jackie. Having been in the restaurant business, I'm really hyper-aware of the service.
Jackie greeted us and took our drink order within two minutes of being seated and I immediately knew that she is genuine and I could trust her recommendations. Super!!

Awesome place. Came to treat myself for my birthday. Sat in the bar, Jen was fantastic - she went out of her way to make this special for me. Best steamed lobster ever my hats off to Chef Juan.

Recently had lunch/dinner at Lobster . A good dining experience. The Lobster is located on Ocean Blvd. It is situated right before you would go down the street to the Santa Monica Pier. Staff are professional, the spot is brightly lit by natural sunlight by day. A very lovely spot. Food: Good, Very Good. My favorite : The scallops and The crab cake dishes. The view : The Pacific Ocean right in front of you, the Pier, The Ferris Wheel all in front of you. Oh, you may dine on a small outside patio. From the patio ,one can people watch from that perch. Valet parking is available. Cost : With validation $12.00.Call ahead ,make reservations. Make The Lobster , a destination. Why, Don Owens recommends!

You know you go to a place named the lobster and you say to yourself, they better have some super awesome lobster. Well guess what? They do! Their lobster was outstanding! I had the 3# lobster and my wife had some beef dish that was not good at all. If you come here, you need to try their grilled lobster.

Loved the modern vibe of the place. Seafood tasted fresh and was cooked properly. My crab pasta dish had great flavor and they even substituted out the lobster for shrimp in the lobster salad. Crab cake appetizer was just 1 cake, so I wish the server would have told us that when we said we wanted to share it between the two of us. Overall, really great and would go again.
