It's like a fashion old house that was abandoned. And I assume that it's a fancy restaurant I actually didn't entered because I forget my wallet. But of course, as soon as have the change I will try. The looks like you will find a performance stage so I am very curious about. And food looks amazing, so I hope not to be disappointed. Check my review in a few weeks!!
We celebrated a friend's birthday party here and the venue, food, and service were perfect! Chef Luigi served up some of the tastiest dishes most of us have ever had, and his staff were speedy and friendly all night. Whether you're looking for a romantic date night (as I observed many couples dining) or a special night out with friends, I truly recommend Luigi al Teatro for a truly amazing experience!
An absolute gem! An old church turned into an amazing restaurant. Beautiful entrance leads you to the back of the building to the patio area. Lovely and spacious with real artwork and a wall of herbs and plants that can be used in the kitchen. The restaurant interior is very impressive with its stained glass windows, large murals and small decor accents that bring new life to this old building. Modern with an old world vibe.
The cocktails are simple but enchanting in flavor and presentation. The food is absolutely amazing! Having sampled most of the menu I can tell you that each dish is beautiful, well thought out in preparation and presentation. Combinations of ingredients I haven't seen in other restaurants of this calibre and original takes on some familiar dishes. The high quality food is modestly priced which makes this a must and will for sure keep me coming back.
This was one of our most memorable dining experiences in recent memory. We ordered the tasting menu to get a true sense of the breadth of Chef Luigi’s (and his talented staff’s) culinary capabilities and we were delighted by each dish. We love to eat and even for foodies, this restaurant is sure to impress. The food is absolutely delicious, the service made us feel like part of the family, and the atmosphere was chic yet comfortable. Look no further for a unique, five star dining experience in the LA area.
I haven't done a lot of reviews, but this place absolutely deserves one. Went here on a Saturday night, and was completely overwhelmed - in the best way possible. Simply: by far the best meal I've had in a long time. We had the chef's tasting menu, and every course was incredible. Chef Luigi works magic with seafood, from the octopus appetizer to the tuna entree. And everything in between.
The restaurant is on second street, a block off of Main which doesn't give it a lot of visibility, but it's definitely a hidden gem. We sat outside and tried to count all of the hanging plants growing herbs. We walked through the restaurant and admired the stain glass windows and the beautiful murals. We saw Chef Luigi several times working the room, a smile on his face, making sure every patron was satisfied. The wine list is not expensive, but a nice blend of Italian, French and American wine. Good price points. I really wish I could get this place an extra star.
