“This place is really excellent. My wife and I found it two weeks ago and we've been there three times already. Great quality ingredients and masterful execution. Also, really affordable. The salad - of all things - is amazing (farmers market greens with an excellent dressing). I've never been a big fan of the California roll, but there's is super good. The spicy tuna - so often nothing special - is a new bench mark. All of the sushi has a perfect rice to fish ratio. Hands down the best rainbow roll I've had so far, and I've had many. The menu is minimal, but, to do a few things and do them well should be celebrated. Chill vibes, great service, and right at the South Pasadena Gold Line stop. Recommended!”

We had problems in the past with too much jalapeno and onion in the guacamole, but that seems to be straightened out. But the prices!! Our standard lunch that used to be $15+ is now $19+. That's over 25% increase! They are not the bargain they used to be.”

Lots of different variety of combinations that if you are a sushi fan just want to try a combo you never thought of. It's good, quick and service is efficient. It's on the higher end of costs but it's for the quality sushi. Definitely they don't use the cost effective sushi.”

I that can be difficult to achieve when using healthy ingredients but in 2019 & being in Los angeles, anything is possible. I must give them points though for originality and effort. “Lunch buffet is pretty good, if you want to just sit there and eat. The garlic knots are tasty but I'm really a fan of their cinnamon dessert stick things. Can't think of a bad combination on their pizzas. A little oily, but it's to be expected of a pizza place. Crust is crispy and tasty, not overly thick. They have a back room for meetings, which works for small convention stuff.”
