“Great menu here and a nice change of cuisine from all the burgers, hotdogs and pizza that are so readily available near theme parks. The Dan Dan noodles were the perfect amount of spicy and the pork buns are delicious. Solid dumplings too. There was only one server for the entire place when we were in (Joe), but he was helpful in choosing menu items and attentive given that he had about 8 tables to wait on. Would definitely recommend.”

I enjoyed playing the jukebox. It was also fun if you left it alone as when it would come on it would come on at random so it was interesting to hear what was coming up next. “This is the hotel's place for breakfast, brunch and dinner. Breakfast can get busy fast but they are good at managing the queue. At weekends the hotel offers a seafood buffet for $65 pp. Having eaten at a number of these, I feel it is very much over priced. There's a superb dessert selection, but the quality of the meat is poor. I feel $35-40 would be more appropriate.”

“Words cannot do this place justice. You must go and experience it for yourself. I have tried each menu item and have even taken friends to feast on the entire menu all at once. The open air environment and fact the tour car/bus drops you right in front of restaurant makes it all the more spellbinding. I often travel from the beach to this location just for lunch on my off days. Mmm...I do miss the bearnaise sauce, super tasty.”

“"Johnny Rocket Texas" is a client of mine so of course when I saw one on my travels-I decided to stop in! First impression was how dirty the tables were. Possible need for more bussing staff! There were only like 3 tables being used. The waiter was good, he kept our drinks full and asked if we were okay several times. The strawberry milkshake was great! I expected nothing less... The entrees came out rather quickly so I was nervous of the taste. But, they were satisfying.”

We got: Shrimp Shack Mac & Cheese - Very watery, bland, the noodles were swimming in water pretty much, although it came in a skillet that was hot the actual mac and cheese was cold. Mama Gump's Garlic Bread - Yummy Run across America Sampler - The shrimp was fantastic, the hush pups had a flavor I simply couldn't get use to... strong flavor. Spicy chicken strips were very good, the spinach dip wasn't good. It was so cold. Lt. Dan's Surf & Turf - The ribs were perfectly cooked, I enjoyed them. The shrimp had a nice grilled flavor but were very stuck in the shell, the fries were perfect. Baja Fish Tacos - These were great. Crispy fish, delicious salsa.”
