    So lucky to have this restaurant open in Downtown San Rafael. YOU MUST try the pupusas, plantains and Sopas! Also, have the mixed fruit drink with fresh fruit in it. Best pupusas I have found in Marin!

    The pupusas were amazing! La Esperanza did wonders for our party! Definitely recommend the fried yuca y la agua de tamarindo. I will be returning.

    This place is SO good! I'm so excited to have them in the neighborhood. My wife and I go once or twice a week. There is a little bit of a wait sometimes, but everything is made from scratch to order. It's absolutely worth it! My wife is vegan, and the folks working here have been happy to make her vegan pupusas (the horchata here is vegan too!)
    This is a very special restaurant, and a place I will continue to go to all the time!
