If you're in San Rafael downtown. It's a must go place. Very delicious food. Paella and lobster dish (in pic) are phenomenal. Chocolate truffle cake is a great way to end the visit !

I write this, but take it with a grain of salt....it was Valentine's Day 2020 so Im sure the staff was busier and more short handed than usual. but our server was seldomly by and the food seemed to have been overly salted...but again being Valentine's day I'm sure it was throwing them off. I debated a three or a four star review...but did decide to give them the benefit of the doubt.

The atmosphere is cool. It was busy for a Wednesday evening. The waiter was a little uppity but the other staff slipped in and out without notice. The short ribs were great but their specialty, paella, was bland, and seemed amateur with tiny shrimp in the dish instead of a couple shell-on decent size shrimp. The bread pudding was good, portion size was shareable for an entire table. The wine list has an okay list of by the glass choices.

Great place and really delicious food. We went with a party of 10 people, which is always tricky, I'm always nervous when you go in large groups as the service might be difficult, but our servers were really nice, attentive and the food came out all at the same time! I tasted almost all dishes my friends ordered and I really liked everything. The pannacotta was really fantastic! The Paella was delicious.

I don't write reviews often but I felt this one deserved the recognition! We started off the the grilled calamari which had this really great sauce, and cooked perfectly. We the main course we ordered the Paella and steak. I ordered it medium, and the steak was melt in your mouth, delicious. And the Paella- each grain of rice had so much flavor we cleaned the plate! For desert we had the Lemon meringue panna cotta. My wife and I were fighting for the last bite scraping the plate for the last crumbs it was so good. Service was great and will definitely be coming back!
