The Black Door

We had such a great experience at The Black Door. The Mexican food is what you'd expect. The service was surprisingly exceptional! Our waiter was the nicest guy, and we were given dessert on the house!

PRO TIP: Get the veggie burrito with shrimp. ;)

I loved the warm and friendly atmosphere of this neighborhood restaurant. It felt family owned and welcoming. Wonderful food for a first night of vacationing. 10/10 would recommend! 💕

I came here with my dad, his friend, and son. We first went here on Friday night and the place only had like 2 customers, then just us. We got our drinks right away and the food was good for dinner. The service and people were excellent. We all decided to come back Sunday morning for breakfast and same thing, great service and we received our order quickly. Limited menu but good options.

We asked our receptionist/hotel assistant at our hotel (Seacliff Motel) for some lunch restaurants and list of places close by. When she mentioned the new Mexican Restaurant, we said that's the one we want to try. Food was like old fashion Grandma's cooking. Amazing, yummy, and when we will be back to this restaurant. Great choice, and so happy we chose this place. Awesome waitress, and very knowledgeable of all her food menu. Total five stars! ☆☆☆☆☆ 👍

I live at The Sea Ranch, just up the road from The Black Door. Tonight was our first time. It was an immediate good feeling upon walking in. It's done well, simply, and laid out nicely. There's a yard with an ocean view. The service was excellent. The food was fresh, a simple blend of tradition and great tastes. Our servers were excellent. This has now become Our Local Gem.
