Vue Kitchen

We were a little hesitant, thinking it might be a little too chic for us; but Vue has really friendly staff, from the hostess to the servers. Food, too is quite impressive. Among favorites are the Clam Chowder, Short Ribs, and Tiramisu Layer Cake.

Now we have a new place to dine next time we visit Gualala.

Definitely pay them a visit!

This place is about the only go to for dinner around Gulala but it is Very expensive. Also the service was questionable. They had good soup but it was lukewarm and the crab cakes were awful.. We had 6 people at the table and the food was brought at different times to different people so half the table was sitting around with nothing to eat while other people already got their main dish while others were still waiting for an appetizer plus I had to keep fighting off the waitress who kept trying to take my soup away even though I hadn't even eaten it yet

So the service was very poor and not intuitive at all and like I said we paid over $200 and most of us only had appetizers, only one person had an actual meal so if we would have all eaten a meal it would probably cost us about $500 for very mediocre food nothing special and bad service

Lovely spot for our anniversary dinner while traveling through the area! Surprised to wait 40 minutes on a weeknight but it gave us a chance to enjoy the sunset and a cocktail at the bar ❤️
