Bridgeport Inn

A very nice quaint Inn with unique rooms. The motel portion was recently updated and that is 5 stars as well. Very friendly and cordial check -in personnel. Extremely clean by a meticulous janitorial staff. The food was outstanding and the service was fabulous. Our two servers ,Kristoff for lunch and breakfast and Rosalie for dinner were extremely friendly and highly professional.

Stopped here to eat on the way to Tahoe. The food here is excellent as is the staff! Very helpful, super friendly and inviting. Felt like we were eating at a friend's home. We had a variety of dishes and all were fantastic. The wings, the roast beef dip, the BLT with sweet potato fries, even desserts! All great. Good sized portions that were very filling. Plan to stop and eat here every time I'm in the area. Highly recommended!

We stayed there a few years ago in a room outside of the main building. While we were in the bar I asked someone where the ladies room was and was told it’s up the stairs to the right. I was a little hesitant to go up there by myself because I heard the hotel was haunted. A patron in the bar overheard me telling my friend this and offered to take us up to the most haunted part of the hotel. We followed him up the staircase to a door that was clearly marked, Do not enter. It was the door to the steps to the attic. I reluctantly followed him up the steep steps into the attic. As I was standing in the attic at the top of the stairs I felt the hair on my arms standing up, I had goosebumps. I took out my iPhone and just started snapping pictures. Theses are the photos. I believe I captured photos of the “lady in white” manifesting.

Service was great. Very Nice waitress/bartender. Food was not great and expensive. 25.00 for meat loaf and it was not unique at all. 26.00 for pot roast that had nothing cooked with it. Just two slices of not so tender meat. Salads were great.

The restaurant is very nice. Breakfast is excellent and has good options for dinner and lunch. Their bar is on super decent. The hotel has a vintage feel and there are different sorts of rooms. The one bed options have shared bathroom and may be inconvenient.
