Fantastic! Appetizers in the bar were great. The bartender Jun was awesome! Love this place.

To begin, I found this place with my nose. I smelled some delicious, buttery and cheesy gratin wafting in the air and I tracked it down here, to this restaurant.

Unfortunately, by the time I found it -- they were closing shop early as it was a slow night.

Although mystified they were having a slow night despite the seemingly amazing food, I made a reservation and decided to give them a try the next evening. I came with a friend.

I had a Lobster Bisque soup with garlic-herb roasted chicken breast. Tri-colored gnocchi and other root veggies were included in a yummy, reduced sauce. My friend had a New York steak, which was dusted with green peppercorn, and fries. He asked for medium but got medium-rare. Regardless, both dishes were absolutely delicious.

Service is truly on point. The host saw I was trying to parallel park and offered to help me park it -- THAT on point! ???? I parked it myself, in the end; some things just aren't in a job description but the offer was truly appreciated! The wait staff was friendly, knowledgeable in food, helpful and patient while my friend and I tried to navigate the world of fine dining.

In the end, we shared a large creme brulee, drizzled with caramel and garnished with a strawberry and a mint leaf. All in all, an amazing night out but be prepared to pay for such great quality -- the bill clocked in at $100.28. We tipped 20%. ????

We'll be back, someday, surely. Truly a laid-back, polished gem in downtown Carmel!

Arrived a little early for our rez but they took us right in. They first sat us at a small 2 person table but since the place wasn't crowded we requested a larger one and the had no problem with moving us. We were so much more comfortable, and right by the window looking out at the fountains. Service was impeccable and the food was so tender and delicious we both ate every bite. It's a short walk to the Sunset Center where we saw a show after dinner. Great experience overall. We will definitely come here again.

We shared an Anniversary dinner here on a Friday night. The restaurant came highly recommended from locals and foodies galore. The atmosphere and service were elegant and all was superb from the greet to the street. Menu offerings covered a variety of proteins and they even offer a table side prepared dinner for 2. My wife had the roasted duck prepared with a cherry glaze, sweet potato mash, and roasted asparagus and carrots. I ordered the Angus NY Steak with gourmet frites, and veggies. We shared the caramel and sea salt creamer brûlée for dessert. All dishes are pictured. If you want to enjoy a quiet dinner out and not be rushed, this is the place to visit. We spent 2 hours enjoying the atmosphere and our meal. Plenty of wine pairings are available along with a full bar. 5 stars all the way!

We were visiting Carmel for a weekend getaway.
Wanted a nice dinner spot and Anton & Michel seemed to fit the bill. I had the NY strip steak and my wife had the salmon. Both were exceptional. Dessert we had the chocolate truffle cake, also superb.
5 stars for food and service.
