The service was really good and the restaurant has a very nice atmosphere. We got the shrimp paella and thought it was awesome. We also got the dessert that is similar to creme brulee. We also highly recommend the croquettes. Overall the flavors were very unique with a traditional base.

I had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant. Despite the fact that the restaurant was completely empty. They asked us if we had reservation which find that very odd. The hostesses which was also our server was very sweet.
The tapas weee so so but the chicken pállela was excellent and full of flavor. They have an extensive Spanish wine selection, but unfortunately, that is not my favorite wines I find most of them highly acidic. They had a limited selection of New World wines. We picked the Daou merlot which was excellent.
Service was excellent. We were full and did not try any of the appetizers.

I had lunch here last Saturday. What a beautiful place! The food was great, the flamenco music and the interior design created a beautiful Spanish atmosphere. One of the owners came to say hi to me. Oh did I mention that bread was delicious?! I found this place kind of randomly, I didn’t fancy lining up in more popular places in Carmel, and I am very glad I came to Promesa. They are less known because they only opened the business this year. Excellent restaurant, I wish them a lot of success!

We came here after we fancied some tapas during our visit to Carmel. Honestly some of the best food you will have during your visit. We had potatas bravas, calamari, croquettes and fried chicken and it was all superb.

However this place has one major issue, the price. 100 dollars for 4 tapas dishes and 2 drinks is honestly insane. My beer was 14 dollars which I was staggered at. I would say you need to visit this place but please be aware that your will be paying top dollar for your experience.

If it wasn't for the price it would have been 5*.
