filled me up in no time. i will be back with my relatives. the bill was decent. makes me feel like i in nashville again.
So glad we came here instead of all the other touristy restaurants that were rated best on tripadvisor. This restaurant is so cute, warm, cozy, and romantic. And the food and wine and service were amazing! We got a reservation at 8:30pm and easily found a spot to park on the street and it was free parking at that time as well. We didn't have to wait long at all before getting seated. We got some pate to start with and it was very good. I'm glad I listened to other reviews and ordered the spinach gnocchi. It was so creamy and delicious and the entree portion was huge! I definitely could not have finished by myself. My husband ordered the special which was a sea bass dish and the waitress was also nice to recommend a very nice wine to go with it. We were both very happy with our choices. The service was very good here, we were pretty much the last people in there but they did not rush us. And was excited to show us their unique cream brûlée, which we ended up ordering and it was pretty good. Very rich in flavor.
Overall, an excellent experience. I highly recommend this place if you're in Monterey.
Went here for dinner on Thursday, December 13, 2018.
Absolutely delicious. Friendly and prompt staff. Nice atmosphere. Delicious food. It was an all around great experience for us. I have nothing negative to say.
I had braised chicken, my girlfriend had braised pork cheeks. Both were spectacular. We both cleared our plates. Very much worth a visit.
Great fancy restaurant, everything was quite cheesy. Reviews said the French onion soup was supposed to be good. It was, but it was also very salty and cheesy, so not sure... maybe that's just how French onion soup is supposed to be. The gnocchi was very very cheesy as well (not saying this is good or bad, depends on your preferences). Pork shoulder was perfectly cooked but portion was small because it's fancy
The best French Cuisine in California! The service is also excellent! The dishes are always consistently delicious and they have an excellent wine selection. Thank you.
