Nick's on the Bay

Nick's on the bay replaced the much beloved Liberty Fish Company and they really updated the place. While I loved Liberty Fish, it was a textbook hole in the wall. Nick's brings an updated decor and a completely different menu that seemed to focus primarily on burgers. They do have a section titled local favorites which includes several seafood options and the always required clam chowder in a sourdough bread bowl. We ordered the fish tacos and the chowder and while it didn't hit the spot that Liberty Fish did, it was worth the value. There was decent sized amount of clams but a few other places around taste better. What this place has going is the value with the bread bowl being much cheaper hence a better value. They are missing the fish market up front but now have a station that churns decent crepes and minidonuts. I miss you Liberty Fish Company but at least Nick's has the decent value going compared to the other options around!

Stopped in for brunch and the food and service were fantastic! My friend and I split an omelette and a crepe and both were delicious. The people were very friendly and kind. Definitely highly recommend!
