Old Fishermen's Grotto

Our server, Efrain was tremendous. He anticipated our needs and guided us along our first visit. The food was top notch and delicious. The rose for the Mrs. at the end was a nice touch. We were able to watch harbor seals and otters from our table. Side note: we had already decided to eat here, but the "No high chairs, No booster seats, No strollers" sign sealed the deal.

I've eaten here twice in the past month a lunch and a dinner. It most definitely has the best clam chowder on the wharf. The staff us is friendly and helpful the fish is fresh and the atmosphere great. My buddy and I had the sampler appetizer shrimp and crab cake were killer. I had the half shrimp salad sandwich and chowder for lunch and left stuffed. The calamari parmesan for dinner and it was very good.

Polite. Attentive. Great food. Satisfying proportions. I truly enjoy the "no children allowed" rule, as it makes a great romantic date night with my husband. The crab is fresh and the scallops are like butter. We also tried to halibut and it was fantastic. We have returned and will continue returning!

Go in for either a very early dinner or a late lunch so that you can get one of the seats by the window. Great view and you can watch kayakers, harbor seals, sea otters, and more. The food? Oh, yes, it is also very good. The clam chowder is excellent as are many of the other dishes. The decor is nice and the staff is friendly.
