“Besides the alcohol options I had a difficult time telling the difference between this and Chipotle. Yes, they offer nice portions, but $14 for (2) tacos some beans and rice is a high price. Especially since most of my food was definitely on the colder side. Not much changed with the interior decor since last owner. Time will tell how they are accepted in the community with franchise competition right down the street.”

Some of the best brews I’ve ever had, with unique flavors that are downright impressive. I’ve only had a few good dishes, and while good, I can’t proclaim them as exceptional. “I was looking for an affordable place to have pasta with seafood without and this place hit the spot. The seafood was fresh and there was a wide selection to chose. I ordered the house white wine which was crisp and refreshing. We started dinner with the calamari. For the main entrees, we ordered the creamy crab ravioli and the seafood pasta. Both dishes were very flavorful. I will recommend anyone looking for a more casual seafood place this would be the one!”

“Had breakfast at the Bay Cafe and Cantina in Monterey. The service was friendly and very accommodating. The restaurant was clean and my breakfast was fresh, presented nicely and delicious. I had to ask them to warm my coffee but I know most people don't like their coffee piping hot like I do. There's also a pleasant view of the small lake out of the restaurants large windows. Thank you Bay Cafe for such a pleasant meal!”
