Kona Steak and Seafood

Address: 1200 Del Monte Center, Monterey, CA 93940, USA

Restaurant

“This is the second time we've come here. They recently opened on 3/17/23. The first time we tried two of the specialty cocktails, which were entertaining and great. This time I tried a classic martini, served in an impressive Kona etched glass. It was good, but not great. Next, we tried the pupu platter, which was delicious. Their breaded shrimp is delicious, as well as the calamari. The fish and chips is great, one of my fellow diners said it was the best he had. I think one of the other local pubs has it equally as good. The chips are very crispy, arguably the best in the area. Two of their deserts have dry ice to create a fog which is very entertaining. We had the chocolate lava cake. The ice cream was as good as Marianne's. Be prepared for the bill, but it's worth it. They charge about 3% more to use a credit card. I saw the owner overseeing everything when I came in, which is excellent. The staff is attentive and helpful.”

Mission 19 Taqueria

Address: 598 Lighthouse Ave, Monterey, CA 93940, USA

Restaurant

“This place is an absolute MUST if you are in the mood for authentic Mexican food. It was so good that my daughter and I went for lunch and came back that same day for dinner! I had carne asada street tacos for lunch and it was amazing! My daughter had fish tacos and she said that the batter was light and not greasy at all. For dinner my daughter had a torta with grilled chicken and I had the pozole. So delicious! The prices are a little steep but you do get a lot of food. There is also a salsa bar that you can access. The ingredients are fresh and the food is made to order. I would highly recommend this to anyone. I will be returning for sure! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

Bulldog Sports Pub

Address: 611 Lighthouse Ave, Monterey, CA 93940, USA

“Been in town a few days and decided to have our last night out at this beautiful sports pub! Lucky us, we showed up Tuesday night where the locals had a music mashup (live music). These folks on stage were absolutely talented, and with the already awesome atmosphere they carried the night out with great music and vibes! Tons of delicious beer on tap and food was fantastic! The fish and chips were fresh and the homemade tarter sauce was incredible! Thank you Bull Dogs Sports Pub and crew for a memorable visit. We are definitely coming back whenever we pass by again!”

Wedo’s Tacos

“We returned here (was here two years ago) for a stop after the Indy race. Good location and very nice open patio in a historic old setting. Food truck somewhat limited in options. Craft Beer selection was good and wide ranged. Dog friendly, which is always great in pubs/patios.”

Hotel Abrego

Address: 755 Abrego St, Monterey, CA 93940, USA

Restaurant

“Terrific hotel and location! The staff was so gracious and helpful. Loved the breakfast buffet; I do wish there was coffee available all day. And not having to worry about parking or finding breakfast was worth the charge. The rooms were very comfortable and the firesplaces are such a nice touch! One of our rooms was a second-floor corner unit overlooking the pool and hot tub. I was a little concerned about noise, but I couldn't hear a thing with the windows closed. I was really pleased with our stay and would definitely recommend.”

Max Fit Meals

Address: 520 Fremont St, Monterey, CA 93940, USA

Restaurant

Rock N Roll Donut Bar

Address: 685 Cannery Row Suite 101, Monterey, CA 93940, USA

Bakery Restaurant

“Delicious, all-vegan donuts! And for those naysayers, don't let "vegan" turn you off - these tasted just like regular creamy and custardy should, vegan or not. These are definitely over-the-top and indulgent, and well worth as a treat (perhaps better as dessert than breakfast). Plus, the staff was extremely fun and helpful. I wish I lived locally so I could enjoy these regularly. Despite their official open hours, go early for the best selection and to grab a few before they sell out.”

Restaurant

“Lunch thali the best for the price and AWSOME food”

Sapporo Sushi & Steakhouse

Address: 3 Municipal Wharf 2, Monterey, CA 93940, USA

Restaurant

“We enjoyed our meal here. My husband said the curtsy was just like we could get in Japan, although a bit more of the sauce itself was needed. My daughter enjoyed the fried rice and I got a roll. I probably wouldn’t go back for the sushi alone as the flavor left something to be desired. I would go back to try other things on their menu though including the hibachi. The staff and server are incredibly kind and welcoming. There is also a wonderful panoramic view of the harbor and busy happenings down there. Overall, a very clean and welcoming place.”

London Bridge Pub

Address: 256 Figueroa St #2, Monterey, CA 93940, USA

Meal takeaway Restaurant

“Kimberly is a very considerate server! Other than suggesting me to order the lighter “Fatlip Amber” instead of another more bitter “Dragon Slayer” local draft, she even took care of my friends’ two puppies by bringing a piece of Bacon for these 2 little cuties! Fish & Chips is indeed one of the best I’ve ever had here in US, and one secret I discovered is that if you order Cod sandwich, the fried cod inside the sandwich is the Fish from the Fish & Chip dish as well! Overall speaking, nice location, good food and great service! I tipped almost 30% just because of great service which made it really worthwhile!”

Dock Side Fish Market

Address: 15 Fishermans Wharf, Monterey, CA 93940, USA

Restaurant

“A great quick dinner after a long roadtrip to Monterey. We had a sourdough bread bowl with clam chowder that hit the spot the first night we were in Monterey. Reasonably priced, too! On another day, we had shrimp sandwiches - there was too much bread and it was dry. Stick with the clam chowder at this place. It was really good. And the staff are awesome!”

Paluca Trattoria

Address: 6 Fishermans Wharf Suite D, Monterey, CA 93940, USA

Cafe Restaurant

“The food was good. First time having Lobster Ravioli, was good. Also tried Gnocchi in Pesto Sauce. Best Pesto ever tasted. Outdoor dining over looking the ocean.”

Crabby Jim's seafood

Address: 25 Fishermans Wharf, Monterey, CA 93940, USA

Restaurant

“First I'll say this, the food was pretty good. Tasty calamari for sure. Chicken pesto, Mixed fish grill all had good flavor. My son liked his crab mac n cheese. It's pricey but what isn't now a days. Friendly host and our server was a nice guy. Only 3 stars though, found metal in my kids meatball marinara. Maybe a cleaning bristle not sure but I'm glad it didn't poke her. Another thing was that the majority of the staff look like teens. A lot of swearing in their chats that we could clearly hear. They need to tone it down. Overall, I would go again without my kids.”

Rockfish Harbor Grill

Address: 101 Fishermans Wharf #1, Monterey, CA 93940, USA

Restaurant

“The location and views are great, interior very nice! The wine list is decent and reasonably priced. Very surprised by the tiny wine glass. Didn't know any restaurants, or suppliers. still made a 4 oz glass :/ disappointing. Best bet is to buy a bottle. First we tried the Clam chowder which was good, not the best, about a 7 out of 10. Our entree orders were, stuffed salmon, grilled salmon & variety plate. The variety plate was good with breaded items covered with panko which kept everything crispy. The calamari was supposedly sliced calamari steak however was very chewy. All was on a bed of soggy shoestring french fries. Each enjoyed their salmon order with exception of fresh veges that had bell peppers. Menu pricing ranges from $8 to mid $30. Grilled salmon was $26.00 and was a good size. I didn't try the dessert, my wife is a tiramisu taster and stays it was excellent! Our friends said the same about the dense NY style cheesecake, excellent!”

LindaRose Rooftop Bar & Grill at Hotel 1110

Address: 1110 Del Monte Ave, Monterey, CA 93940, USA

Restaurant

“Intimate rooftop atmosphere with delicious food and some unique drinks. I bet there's a killer view when the sun's still up, but settled for a cozy dinner by some heaters. Limited space bit worth a trip!”

Address: 467 Alvarado St, Monterey, CA 93940, USA

Restaurant

“The pasta is amazing”

Stokes Adobe Restaurant

Address: 500 Hartnell St, Monterey, CA 93940, USA

Restaurant

“Absolutely fantastic dinner! We sat outside, which may have been chilly at 7:30 but they're well appointed with heaters, and you can choose to sit at a fire pit which also looked really nice, though we did a table since we were getting a full dinner with lots of sharing. There's big privacy hedges so you're nicely isolated from the road. The waiter, who looked to be taking care of all of the porch area, was absolutely delightful and super attentive. And of course the good was incredible, don't miss the crispy potatoes! And the drinks were out of this world, the Yellow Parrot is amazing if you like absinthe. Absolutely give this a try if you're in the area!”

Hotel 1110

Address: 1110 Del Monte Ave, Monterey, CA 93940, USA

Restaurant

“So wonderful!! This hotel (and restaurant and bar) are cozy by themselves, but the staff here made the experience even better. Very attentive, and will even help you plan your trip! Make sure you take time to check out the rooftop and beautifully maintained garden. A+, will be back again if I’m in Monterrey. Thanks, Esau & Dr. Nick!”

Loulou's Griddle In the Middle

Address: Municipal Wharf 2, Monterey, CA 93940, USA

Restaurant

“Local, fresh and often fried the food at LouLouLo is as amazing as it's location on the pier. Good breakfast and lunch food with enormous burgers and excellent fish and chips as well as some unique options like abalone sliders. I highly recommend asking about the specials and getting some fresh fish that was likely caught less than a day ago.”

Sandbar & Grill

Address: Wharf II, Monterey, CA 93940, USA

Restaurant

“We loved it. They were very nice and accommodating. We had a total of 8 kids of all ages between two families and they did their best to seat us quickly and close. The kids loved the food and the view... as did we. Good food and good memories. Would recommend.”

Taco Shack Handmade Tortillas

Woody's at the Airport

Address: 200 Fred Kane Dr, Monterey, CA 93940, USA

Restaurant

“Had a fabulous time eating at Woody's. The food is very high quality and worth the price. The clam chowder was excellent and packed with flavor, it was not creamy which was good so it wasn't too filling. I've had every clam chowder on the Monterey Peninsula so I know my chowder and this is one of the top chowders I've had. I had the sand dabs with mashed potatoes. Both very flavorful. I love the extra details to the dish, the lemon came with a cloth around it so you don't get seeds in your food squeezing lemon on your fish. Very quality touch of service and much appreciated. Very nice staff and service. I will definitely be back.”
