Compline Wine Bar, Restaurant & Merchant

It was recommended and meal was tasty, but my dish, Chicken Cacciatore wasn't hot. I didn't have the heart to send back. The brisket was good. Great fries and loved the Terrine. Great wine selection.

We always enjoy our time at Compline. The food is amazing. I'm a vegetarian and I really appreciate when chefs can prepare versatile vegetables. All my other friends rave about the duck fat fries! And the desserts, yum! The atmosphere is inviting and warm, you can take home your favorite bottle of wine from the wine shop in front, too! Last but not least, the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and on top of it. We loved sitting at the bar and watching Angel manage 100 things at once without breaking a sweat. You won't be disappointed!

Had a salmon starter and it was super greasy. The salad we had was great. My wife and I shared a ribeye steak and it was super tough. Would not go there again.

I visited this establishment with my significant how they're hoping to taste some fun lines and have some good conversation with a wine expert. Things started off slow. Our server wasn't very helpful in guiding are tasting and the wines are mostly European which pushed us to choose more carefully. The way the tasting works is you get four 2 oz pours for $25. However we did micro tastings of a few wines before we picked our for a wine but weren't sure if those were part of our tasting or not. This unclear communication took a lot of active communication on our part to unravel and understand. I think this is a good place for folks who know I want to drink some European wine and know exactly what they want. But if you don't have a great knowledge of European wines and aren't comfortable facilitating your own tasting I would recommend another place besides this one.

Delicious food coming from a small ever-changing menu. (always recommend the burger and fries). Great selection of wines from across the world. The staff is very knowledgeable and can help you pick something out easily if the wine list looks out of your comfort zone.

For deal hunters: Family Meal is 9pm-11pm and is $20 an comes with a glass of wine.
