Scala Osteria & Bar

I’m new to Napa but Scala has already become a “go to” for my partner and I. On two separate occasions, we have brought our guests here for a special meal so they could eat at our new favorite restaurant!

All in all, you can’t go wrong. I’ve sampled all but one of the pastas and they’re equally delicious. The oysters are wonderful, as is the calamari and all their seafood…again, you can’t go wrong!

The staff is professional, attentive, and enthusiastic. The food and wine is delicious. Scala has a wonderful atmosphere and I’m excited to keep going back for special occasions and date nights alike.

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere but the prices and dishes are ridiculous. A little gem salad was $10 and had about 10 very large leaves with a few tiny pieces of fruit. The pasta dish was super simple and not interesting. Half a dish was $12. The food and ordering took a very long time to arrive.

What a great addition to Napa downtown restaurant scene, Scala is a great option when you are in napa downtown doing some shopping, meeting up with friends for a drink, bite to eat, wine tasting or just simply spoiling your love ones for a delicious dinner. I am a concierge for Napa Private Tours and I am exited to added this new Restaurant to my list of recommendations to send guests! You will love this place if you are looking for seat food, pastas, pizza and tasty drinks, not view tho but the ambience inside is chic plus everyone is super attentive and service oriented. Love this cute bistros where I can spend hours or just simple have a salad with a great glass of wine and get back to work.

Absolute authentic Italian delight! Decor and service and beautiful simplicity of the food was fantastic. Bryce the head chef and Gregorio our waiter made our visits special - it was so good we went twice in one weekend. You’d be mad not to eat here in Napa - it’s in its own league.

One of the best Branzino I have ever had. Very well cooked and tender. I asked for the lemon caper sauce which was amazing! The service is over the top and waiter was very friendly. Many thanks for the amazing food and all the best with your journey providing classy food to California!
