“Ever hate spending over $4 for a taco? I do, but I didn't feel that way after I ate here. Tacos were delicious, quality meat not just the butcher scraps like other places are using. Alpastor was bomb. Loaded fried were gobbled up by my kids, they were raving about how good they were. Stop by and see for yourself. Tortillas looked hand made ad well, don't sleep on this place.”

“Prefer economy groceries, in town, friendly, cleaner, better pricing. This "Lucky" chain is not a fav.some egg cartons outdate quickly, peanut butter selections are limited with oily tyes on shelf not mixing welly and separating easily. Could not find fresh gluten free bread with limited bread types and higher pricing than groceries with more floor space and more volume, lower pricing. Other stores have fresher eggs, such as trader joes, with better egg prices. Safeway has more types of lactose free milk. Whole foids has better ground chuck and healtjier sausage prepared daily. Ice cream cones at lucky ae usus Lly limited to ones with peanuts pn top even though ones without peanuts were requested. Chickens are not baked long enough and drumsticks on baked chicken are partially raw at napa store, bright red inside and one had bloody leg bones with psrtially baked white meat so partially cpoked i hsd to cook it more at home, and selling for 9 dollars firxa very small chicken. “I love everything here, except the higher prices! I thought $50+ for a 6" birthday cake was way too high, however I really appreciate the quality and ingredients that went in to it. The cake was so rich and fulfilling that it's smallish size was plenty for 6 people with leftovers. You could taste that everything was made with real sugar and butter! Not the typical hydrogenated oil, and corn syrup genocide that seems to predominate our so called safe FDA/USDA approved foods. Only the little sugary decoration plate and the gel they used for the "Happy birthday Katie" was questionable. They didn't charge extra for that and I would suggest not eating it, though I am sure it was technically edible. The staff was very helpful on the phone and at the bakery, they seem to have some lunch stuff too, but if it is a real bakery you want, look no further. This place is awesome, as long as you aren't low income. I was going to complain about the high price and small cake. After my experience, I have to say that I will still come back for the quality, but not very often unless I make a lot more money. All in all, the enjoyment of the cake by everyone made it worthwhile. We also got a tiramisu thing in a chocolate coffee cup for less than $10, I didn't eat it, but it was also loved”

“Omg yeassss!!! You want to eat here! My daughter and I went today, and she always gets bean, cheese and rice burritos, which are super plain to me but I took a bite of hers and it was screaming! The rice has so much flavor, and I’m not a rice girl. I tried their Quesaberrias(?) to die for! I have no desire to go to any other taco trucks in Napa anymore 😜 The service was also great; thank you!”

“Bear is a brand new Californian farm-to-table cuisine within the brand new Stanly Ranch resort. Bear has all the right ingredients to start making a mark. A swanky, rustic industrial designed interior, fabulous plates and silverware, and most importantly an honest farm-to-table food line-up that is cooked with care. You can definitely feel the freshness in all the ingredients, especially the veggies. The dishes are put together without overpowering sauce or garnish. I would say they're even on the blander side, very down-to-earth presentation but again, each plate is filled with heartiness. We had a great time at dinner. Although the kitchen and staff felt a bit "new" as they were getting to know one another and work together, they pulled off a great meal. Our favorite was the crispy rice (this is a must-have) and the scallops. Both had their unique twist to the expected norms in a fabulous way. Really curious how Bear starts to shape up as the resort starts to get utilized more. Would love to see this place "mature" in a delicious way. My message to the chef: "Be confident! You're awesome." Reduced 1 star due to the high price compared to overall value.”

“Our first time dining at the Village Bistro. Never even new this little gem existed. It is tucked away in the courtyard at the Meritage Resort and Spa. Loved the interior of the restaurant immediately! Great, contemporary, intimate space. Staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was excellent…. from the butter lettuce / greens and goat cheese salad, to the bouillabaisse, roasted chicken, and a delicious french ice cream and berry dessert, we were both very happy with our dinners and the wine. Looking forward to returning soon, and we will be recommending it to our friends…”

“We celebrated a 50th birthday at Napa Yard Oxbow last night and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. It was the perfect, casual environment for about 50 or 60 friends and family (plus dogs) to come and go and so easy to order their own food and drinks from the QR codes on the table. The food was great and was brought out fast. We were unsure about the cold weather since the place is mostly outdoors but the heated tent we were in was very comfortable. The managers and entire staff were so friendly and attentive and supplied tons of plates and forks for the cake we brought. Many of our local friends didn’t know this place existed but will be coming back again soon. Do yourself a favor and check it out.”

“We waited patiently for something to fill the space next to the convenience store on Coombsville, and we couldn't have asked for something better than El Sabor Serrano. It's a lovely family-run establishment. No matter the time of day or how inundated they are with orders, they make you feel like part of the family. And that's before I even start talking about the food! Pollo, birria, and chicharron mulitas are a staple in our house, but only after El Sabor Serrano introduced us to them. We recommend ordering them "with everything" i.e. all the accoutrements that they serve alongside (delicious onions, cucumber, peppers, etc.) Cannot recommend this place highly enough!”

“It’s fine. It’s a sandwich chain that charges pretty steep prices (for a chain) for average quality sandwiches. Most sandwiches tend to lean to heavily on shredded lettuce as opposed to meat, and sometimes any added toppings are few and far between. I wouldn’t go out of my way for a sandwich here, but I guess if you wanna spend $12 on an okay sub then this is the place. Otherwise, I’d say you get more bang from your buck at Subway.”

“A surprisingly good country deli with fresh food such as BLT sandwiches made to order, fruit yogurt parfaits made on site, fresh garden salads, and burritos. But they mop the floors throughout the day with chlorine, which doesn't appeal to the senses--hint, hint! Best take your order outside to eat at one of the cute picnic tables situated (unfortunately) right on the parking lot. Also available are beer, wine, and milk. I'd say this deli is frequented mostly by working contractors; however, if you're looking for some good "food to go" on your adventure to Lake Berryessa, it's a good place to stop!”
