“To be honest, I was surprised at how the food and service was so good here. This was our first time so we didn't know what to expect, and we got a good surprise. Grilled steak kabob was so tender and not salty like most restaurants. Same with the grilled veggies, and the rice pillaf was fluffy. Also, the servings were huge at a very reasonable price. The salad was fresh, with very light dressing and not like a huge blob slathered all over. Would definitely come back, and I recommend this place if you like something Mediterranean.”

Other net not a badd experience had a very large menu to choose from as little overwhelming at 1st Until I figured out what I wanted. I knew I wanted to bagel breakfast sandwich it was just a little hard to find on the menu at 1st. “New pita pita location. Slightly different menu and layout than the other location. Pitas are excellent, hot and freshly made. As the other location, the meats are slightly dry. I think it's because they keep them heated up in a warning container. Good authentic Lebanese flavors.”

“Absolutely delicious! The things that I look for in a burger are: a fresh, hand-formed patty, fresh produce, good flavors in the sauce (not too much sauce or too little where it is dry), good bread. My Smash Burger had all of it. The meat was flavorful and moist, the bread was quality, and I liked the Smash Sauce. While the Smash Fries weren't fresh cut, they were thin, tasty, crispy and such a great combo of herbs and salt. I had my food delivered, and the fries were still hot. My chocolate Oreo milkshake was good too. Not my favorite, but I would still recommend it, and I like how they had a unique flavor. The value was great too, so I'll definitely be back!”

“Ok so the food was great and very fresh, but that doesn't make up for the horrible service! Literally we waited 30 minuets for a beer!! And after losing patience I had to go to the bar to get my own drink! I think if you are paying $40 plus per plate the service should be top notch! On top of the long wait times for drinks our server forgot to bring out the soup we had ordered!! Perhaps she was having an off day but for the price of the meal that's just unacceptable!”

Staff was friendly and the manager even came over to apologize because one of the wait staff thought we were waiting too long. We explained there was no issue at all but appreciated the concern. FYI there was no wait time issue in our opinion.”

“We tried Urban Plates tonight and it was awesome! The food was great! We chose the “plates” line rather than the salad or sandwiches line. You can choose from delicious meats like steak, chicken, sea bass, salmon, and turkey meatloaf. Then you get a choice of two delicious sides! Yum! I had the steak, mashed potatoes, and Brussels sprouts and they were awesome! The place also serves beer, wine and cocktails! The food was great! I will be back!”

“A lovely little bar on one of the slower blocks of Irving. The eponymous fire is in the wall opposite the bar, and gives off a gorgeous red glow, which is a stroke of design brilliance. My date and I sat at the bar by the window and spent a few hours people watching, and I think we were both glad our bartender had a heavy wrist. Tread lightly with a Fireside screwdriver, they pack a wallop.”

“My boyfriend's favorite kbbq joint. I love their selection of meats and salad. Despite being pretty popular, the wait at peak hours is still not bad. The parking situation here, however, is absolutely terrible. They don't allow you to park in neighboring plazas and walk over to the restaurant. You have to find a more out of the way spot on the street.”
